I would like to encourage people not to tape the show. The band and their management have been very, very generous with their taping policy throughout many, many years and I feel that if they made this one request, then it should be respected. I understand people may stealth the show and I would like to request that not be the case in this instance. The band may be thinking of releasing the performance in video format, and I am sure the performance will be released on Mule Tracks (after the cd release) if it isn't released any other way. So please respect their request. I am sure they wouldn't have requested no taping if it wasn't important. Angela

INFO FOR THE BOWERY BALLROOM ON 5/22
A very limited amount of tickets for Monday's Gov't Mule show @ The Bowery Ballroom will be released today, May 18th, at 4PM EDT through www.ticketweb.com
---------------------------------------------------------------

The Bowery Ballroom, the site of this coming Monday's Gov't Mule show, is a very intimate room and tickets are very limited. We do understand that many people were unable to get tickets when they went on-sale, but please be assured that we made as many tickets available to the public as possible.
Also, we are aware that several scalpers are offering up tickets to this show. We will be making sure that the only people allowed in to the Bowery will be those who have ordered tickets in their name.

Lastly, regarding taping at this show, taping will not be permitted at this one performance. Gov't Mule is extremely taper friendly - we've always fought to have at least one taper at festivals we play that normally don't allow taping, as well as in situations where we are sharing the bill with non-taper friendly bands. But for this one show, we request that there be no taping of any kind. Failure to adhere to this request may impact Gov't Mule's future taping policy.

Gov't Mule will be Hitting The Stage at 8PM SHARP

Hey Ang,
Thanks for the info. I can't believe I didn't see this - I checked both ticketweb & the mule site several times today. Too late! No tickets! You are so lucky to have gotten tickets!

If I were locked out I would go down there that night because I bet there will be people who have tickets they can't use due to the must have the credit card in your hand and be the person clause. Just my advice of course, not a guarentee.

Yeah they put it on the tour page and thus, not easily seen as in the front home page or the news page.

I'm leaving for the show now. I will report on it as soon as I get a chance. If a bootleg shows up I for one will not trade for it or listen to it. I think that everyone who calls themself a Mule fan should agree. If the band doesn't want the songs from the new LP circulating prior to its release, we should honor that.

Doug
