Is anyone using it, and can a dual core with two gigs of ram actually burn two discs at the same time? I heard you can run two "neros" simulataneously.

I don't think it would be advisable to burn two at once, but with the speed at which the dual core and two gigs of ram would let you burn a dvd, you could more than likely burn two in the time it used to take for one.

It would be great to really multi-task as they state you can with a dual core. If you have 2gb of RAM it seems like there would be enough processing power. In addition, a 64 bit OS on a 64 bit system dual core or better seems to promise the ability of infinite RAM

Hmmmmmm, VISTA not seen here, yet

Cheers

Carlos

takes me about 45 minutes to burn a DVD, shorter if it isnt full-length. What is cool is that right now I have a little TV window up in the corner as I type-the TV tuner with Windows Media Center is very nice!

The issue would be the I/O paths to the two dvd burners. I would not
do it on a regular basis. I have two machines hooked to a single Keyboard/mouse/
screen. One has a dvd burned the other a cd burner, so I can burn two at
once or burn and surf at the same time.
