Apparantley he has some big news which he is revealing first to Stef on Sirius radio at 5 PM. I know theres a lot of Trey bashing around here, but I'm very interested to see what it is. I have a feeling it's going to be of a summer tour, but not sure of with who. Maybe it'll be with SerialPod, but with Mickey as well. But then, they'd need a key player, I think Kofi Burbridge is available for some parts (while Derek's away). What a band that'd be

Trey Anastasio
Mike Gordon
Bill Kreutzman
Mickey Hart
Kofi Burbridge

Wow.

There was that rumour, I put it on here, I saw it was on craigslist, but it was just an April Fool's joke. Someone e-mailed the person who wrote the article and they said that it was just an April Fool's joke. Apparantley Page and Fishman were spotted together today, so who knows, anythings possible.

Playing the role of "Special Guest" at the second night of Mountain Jam, perhaps? That's my guess. Or perhaps a summer tour with a reformed Phish.

I was thinking that he was the very special guest at the Mountain Jam, but with what band? I doubt he'd do it with 70 Volt Parade, more likely SerialPod (plus hopefully Mickey and Kofi), and even possibly acoustic with Mike, and even possibly Phish reunion and it isn't announced until they step onto the stage and then the next day they announce the summer tour.

Oh, okay. Maybe it is a tour with Serial Pod...even though I really can't see Billy touring with anyone except for the folks in the DEAD camp or his old band, The Trichromes. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I would put Kofi's chance of touring with SerialPod at about .0000000000000000001%

this interview got a LOT more interesting after the song.

Trey announced a tour with Mike Gordon and the Duo OPENING for Phil & Friends this summer.
I believe he said about 3 weeks. Wow, I hope they come to my town.

Actually he said that he is going to tour with Gordon, Benevento, Russo and open for Phil, he's not goin with the duo. C'mon, do you really think that Bill and Mickey would play in Trey's band and not Phil's? If this stuff is true, then I'm passin. I just cant go to a show with the Phish crowd, and I can't stand Trey. I'll give my money to The Allmans, Steely Dan and Roger Waters.

Trey to make a new album with the duo and gordon. Medeski is on one of the songs too. And he is touring with Phil in the summer with The Duo

Thanks Drew. I just found this at jambase:

Today (4/27) on Sirius Radio, Trey Anastasio announced that he will be
touring with Mike Gordon, and the Benevento/Russo Duo. This four-some
grew out of recording for Trey's new album, Bar 17 which features the
Duo and Gordo. This new band will tour for about three weeks over the
summer and will be opening for Phil Lesh & Friends. There is no
release date set for the album, but Trey hopes to have it on shelves
by the time the tour begins.

Trey also made reference to the fact that it is "definitely" not out
of the question that Phish may re-group.

Stay tuned for more details.
