Happy, happy, joy , joy!!!!
I am starting this thread to pass along some happiness and good vibes to you all!

Things get a little too serious here in the forums sometimes and it is time to put some of it behind now.

The forum angel says please post on the happy thread and everyone have a wonderful day! Listen to some good music and send someone in the buddy box a smile, even if you don't know them! Spread the happiness, it is contagious you know!

Thanks to our very own angel to give us all something to smile about. She's right. Life is a wonderful thing, and we all have it. Ok, I'll try, Pam.

Soon we'll have a new season of ABB shows to discuss. These are just the off-season piss and moan (or blues) sessions. Things do get a little intense sometimes, though.

Happiness is a full bottle of Bacardi and a weekend off. Sadness is Mondya when both are gone!

This thread makes me start hearing (courtesy of my mental deejay) some of my favorite songs about love...first up, "Love Is A Beautiful Thing" by the Rascals.

Next?

Funny that this thread was begun.

Was listening to some Al Green & Marvin Gaye on my way to work.

How Sweet It is to Be Loved By You

Love and Happiness ("Love is...")

Ain't No Mountain High Enough

I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know

...and Janis Joplin's I Need a Man to Love ... one of my favorite songs to belt out when no one's within earshot

For reasons unknown to everyone but my mental deejay, I just started singing Love Shack by the B-52s...

Yes, from the first album, w/ Al Kooper, Child Is Father to the Man. Finsky, I heard Paul Schaeffer do that song during one of the breaks on Letterman recently...Jack Black came running out with a cape when Paul became overwrought, a la James Brown...

Happiness is reading this thread from all the cool people here -- you're an angel Pam -- and happiness is also rolling up for a weekend of skiing up here in the Northeast. Conditions are mint right now and NOTHING CAN TOP IT!
The album Peaceful World, by the Rascals -- good call enigmajean -- damn that's a fine, mellow album, a great one to chill by with one's better half.
Have a great weekend all -- be safe!

Stephen, have an awesome time!

Pam, thank you, my sweet sister and partner in crime; this is what we needed.

If I don't get some real work done today, I will be in trouble of the unpleasant kind; catch you hippies later!

Yeah...but my productivity has been very thin this week...many distractions. I'm going to put nose to the grindstone, in a manner of speaking, for at least a coupla hours...have fun!

People can you feel it? Love is everywhere.
People can you hear it? Love is in the air.
We're in a revolution. Don't you know we're right.
Everyone is singing. Yeah! There'll be no one to fight.

People can you feel it? Love is everywhere.
People can you feel it? Love is everywhere.

(Everybody sing, clap your hands, dance around the room!!!)

Thanks, Goliath.....
