I just listened to most of this - it's incredible. The highlights of the lineup are:
Warren Haynes
Chuck Leavell
Jaimoe
Marc Quinones
John Popper
Noel Redding

The show is from 1993/02/05 and the recording I have is really good - anyone else have this?

Anytime yoou have trey, popper and warren on the same stage, you're
in for a good time.

I wish I could've been there, but just under the age of 3 at the time, it wasn't really in the cards. Where was the show at?

It was at "The Ritz" which I think was the former Studio 54. They are doing
plays there now. I also remember a latter day (1990s) "trips festival" there.

It really was a great time! [joan osborne] I remember was there also, and [pat dinizzio] "smithereens" did a few tunes. It was great to see noel redding back in action as well. there was some great music in N.Y.C. around that time, later that year artimus pyle did a gig with [allen woody} on bass in the very same building. [I talked to him that night.] and chuck berry did a gig on that same stage in feb 93 that was fantastic!. that guy who played "richie valens in the film "la bamba" was the opening act, and was booed loudly!! through his whole set. [tough crowd]. "lou diamond phillips" was his name.

During the gloria encore popper, who was having some medical problems and
had been sitting down till then, finally stood up and the place went wild. It was like
when you see the faith healer cure the guy in the wheelchair.

Yes Joan was there, but I don't remember what she sang on.

That was the second power jam, I think that was the one with Joan.
Warren was not there, it pales in comparison to the first one.

the second power jam was 3/19 at the ritz. The big draw was Mick Taylor but he didn't
show. It included Joan, Johnnie Johnson (check berry's piano player), Jaimoe, Snooky
Flowers (sax) , Will Lee and Anton Fig (from Lettermans band).

This is a great thread...it's slowly coming back to me. I believe that night Phish was playing around the corner at Roseland and once their show was over they came on over to the Ritz and joined the fun. This show was certainly a classic. I remember for many years saying this ranked in my top 3 of all time. Another classic one which I think was as epic was One for Woody at Roseland.

Both were so so speacial to me...
