I'm not sure if this show actually exists. I got two different copies and they both are the Stoneybrook 9/71 show, in lesser quality. I matched them up not for note. If Clemson recording does exist, I'd love to hear it.

I have the one disc version. I'll match it up tomorrow since my SUNY disc is at work and see what my copy sounds like.

Does Duane say something to the audience in this show?...something ...recognizable? I have two shows, with this playlist...labeled with Different dates...

The one disc version that I have sounds like an audience version of Stoneybrook to me. That sucks!

FYI, followings are my 1CD version's track list and length.

9/11/'71 Littlejohn Coliseum, Clemson SC
1. Statesboro Blues (3:54)
2. Trouble No More (4:08)
3. Don't Keep Me Wonderin' (4:39)
4. Done Somebody Wrong (3:35)
5. One Way Out (4:41)
6. Blue Sky (6:36)
7. In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed (11:09)
8. Hot 'Lanta (5:27)

This version is just a copy from analog vinyl bootleg "duane allman, statesboro blues".
You can hear some scratch noise from vinyl LP playing.

Clay, I think I sent you a copy of this show a while back. Mine was a 3rd gen copy of the show. I transfered to 2 cds, with Whipping Post being the only song on the 2nd cd. It's the show where Duane says we have a slight testicle problem. Hope this helps all.

Sal

If I'm not mistaken, the last two songs or so (definitely the WP) seem like they were recorded at a different spots from the other songs. Meaning the taper wasn't sitting still with the recorder.

And as Sal mentioned, this was the "testicle" show.

I have the same version MasahikoYamaura has. It seems like the songs all fade in when they start.

Well I could have the correct show (set list looks good) but the song lengths are off. Sal or Clay, care to do a B&P.. ? I'll post it up for 5 lucky ones in return.

dabo71, pm your addy & I'll send it to you.

Source: Sal>ClayPelland>dbhelm>bhs72

It's a little rough but it's the only one that's complete.

The tracking times are probably different because I used a stand alone burner to transfer this show from cassette to cd. The tracks were put in manually. Hence the difference in song length

Is this different than Stoneybrook? If so, I'd love to hear. Like I mentioned above, I got 2 different copies and they both turned out to be Stoneybrook. If this really is different, I'd like to check it out.

I have both the 2 disc (from Sal via Clay) and the 1 disc version. I think that they both originate from the same source, the difference being that the 1 disc version omits Midnight Rider, Stormy Monday and Whipping Post - which are probably the worst affected tracks with regards to audience noise / skips etc - and thus fits onto a vinyl disc for bootleg purposes as mentioned by Masahiko above.

For a collector, Sal's 2 disc version is a "must have" as it is complete, but it is also worth having the 1 disc version because the bootleggers have attempted to clean up the sound and the quality is marginally better, but not much, maybe a Grade C to a B- improvement.

Just got my copy from BHS72 (Thanks Donny) and I noticed that IMOER is in two parts and the beginning of Duane's solo is missing. I had gotten another copy (WMA format) a few weeks back and there is no cut nor missing section of Duane solo. Does everyone else's "official" (Sal via Clay) version have a cut ?

Yes I have both 2 discs version too (Thanks Colin ), and just as you mentioned, Liz Reed in two parts also beginning of Duane's solo is missing. One disc version of Duane's solo isn't missing beggining part but it ended at middle of his solo.
I've never heard of complete version of Liz Reed, so I'm so interested in your source of WMA format.
As from your past post here, this version seems longest Liz Reed and complete one.

My (WMA) version came from BillAstro who I believe got it from Marion Sindorf. I will listen to it this weekend and verify that it is the same version of the song. They both have the same intro to Stormy Monday at the end ("yeah, we'll play a T. Bone Walker song for ya") so it;s proably the same though I'm not sure why the very end of Gregg's solo/part of Duane's solo is not included in Sal/Clay's version. I'd be happy to send it to you
