Perhaps this should be on the tape trading board, but I'm going to do a little freebie on here because there's probably more traffic, and repost there

Post what you think the setlist will be for opening night - give me 18 songs, as that seems to be around the average for the past several years. Closest to getting it right (meaning the songs played, not exact order) gets five ABB-related shows from my list, free of charge. That means Frogwings, ABB, Derek, Mule, Gregg & Friends, etc. etc.

Have fun!

EDIT: In the event of a tie (so if there's like 10 people that get it I'm not out 200 blanks) I'll think of some way to break so that one person wins, perhaps by the person that has the most songs in teh actual setlist placement.

Don't you think Gregg and Warren's voices might be a little worn out for the rest of the tour after that one?

Thanks for doing this.........I love reading everyone's thoughts, but rarely post. However, it's almost showtime here in NYC, and I'm very excited to see what they put out tonight for a setlist. Considering I expect some new material I may not be familiar with, it's hard to be firm on 18 songs, but I'm willing to "eat" a pick or two in order to predict "new song here"

Set One:

Hot'lanta>My Favorite Things>Hot'lanta
Don't Keep me Wonderin'
End of the Line
Who's Been Talkin' (followed by an enthusiastic "Thank You" from Warren)
Come & Go Blues

Greg addresses crowd and announces next song

New Cover- I Shall be Released (Greg & Warren share vocals) Why Not?
Egypt
Desdemona

Set 2:
Accoustic-
Come On in My Kitchen
Goin' Down the Road feeling Bad
New Song Original -Greg Sings

Electric-
Hoochie Coochie Man

greg announces"the night is young"

Black Hearted Woman
Gambler's Roll
Stand Back
Rocking Horse>Drums>Rocking Horse
Dreams (w/ Randall Bramlett)

Encore:
You Don't Love Me

OK......there it is. A show I'd be happy to see and plenty left for other nights

OK, so we have 4 people with 7 right - a four way tie:

vinsanity231597
Uponthe2ndfloor
peachheadcpl
Rubba

To be honest, I think Uponthe2ndfloor and Rubba are the closest to having tiebreakers in accurate song placement, but still, I'll leave it up to y'all to fight it out. Does anyone have an objection to the tiebreaker being closest between the four of you to the last night of the run's setlist? Same format, guess a setlist, and closest to last night wins?

I'll PM each of you this just in case you don't see it. Trying to be fair here

I found last night's set-list on another site and am listening to a recording of the show as I type this (Warren and The Dead do "The Weight" better). I'm new here. Is it a no-no to post the link to the other site?

if you're talking about the streaming site (live365, I think?) it's been posted here on a few other threads

If it has, I haven't seen mention of it though I guess someone did post a link to the site. I found the set-list there but not here. In any case does "live365" stream every show?

the link is posted, along with the setlist, in the "The Allman Brothers Band- Beacon Theatre in NYC- March 9th, 2006 Setlist" thread.

Taperrob uploads the show to that site, I believe - not every show surfaces there.
