As the Tour Mystic has often told me – patience is a virtue. This must mean that those of you who ordered the 2005 Instant Live CDs from Hittin’ the Note are extremely virtuous! Thank you!

We expect to receive a shipment tomorrow that will allow us to complete the “West Best” set. Those orders will be going out in the mail starting 3/1/06. The “West Best El Grande” should be shipped a few days later and the Summer Swing package after that. It looks like the complete 2005 Instant Live Summer Crop will (hopefully) ship in time to help celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Greatest Live Recording ever – Live at The Fillmore East!

All of us at Hittin’ the Note, Instant Live and The Allman Brothers Band want to thank you for your patience. We acknowledge and apologize for the lengthy delay between your payment and the delivery of your order. Please know that there have been a number of discussions on how to improve this process for the next go round. Suffice it to say that if something could go wrong this year, it did. Without publicly flogging the offenders – let me just say that we all know we can do better.

Thanks again for your patience and your orders – ya’ll a great bunch!

JNB

The shipment just arrived, and we now have all the pieces necessary for West's Best and the Souther Swing set. It may still take us a while to pack them all up, but we're on it!

Thanks again for your patience!

I have to tip my hat to the Instant Live guys. I decided to buy a t-shirt at the show l saw last summer instead of the recording because I assumed I could get it online shortly thereafter. Several months and a couple worried phone calls later as well as imploring them via e-mail that the discs were for a Christmas present (to me), lo and behold my show landed in my mailbox - LAST CHRISTMAS EVE DAY!

We are still missing some shows-- I don't think we have Syracuse yet, for example. However, we do have everything for the El Grande, and we will do our best to get these packages out the door as quickly as humanly possible.

In the tradition of the Pony Express, the "toady" express! If you've ever wondered why it takes a while for your shipments to get to you, toads just don't hop very fast.

I think Joe meant "today."

Yes I agree with Mr. Mystic...patience is a virtue and "the best things come to those that wait" My Hotlanta instant live is making me feel better today while I order flowers for my friend's funeral.

Truly sorry about your friends funeral, Mother Teresa.

I also want to truly thank the folks at HTN for their tireless effort at getting us all quality music. It's much appreciated!

I got my copy of Songlines from Kid Glove yesterday. It's making me feel better too.

My friend was the only person I ever met in my dealings with the Corporate world who loved the ABB. That was back in the early '80's before the ABB came back to claim their rightful place at the top. David was a good guy from Jackson, Mississippi.

Thanks for the kind words Sandman.

Kid Glove is the best.
