So me and my sis are going and I have two tickets, one in orchestra, one in upper balcony, If I go in to the show in the orchestra section, do you guys think someone would let me borrow their ticket stub so I can get my sister down in the orchestra? Just two of us, wont take up much room except for dancing. Just seeing what everyone thinks.

Should be no problem after the show starts - stay out of the aisles during the security walk throughs (or make sure who ever is in the aisle has a ticket in hand to show the staff when they ask for it). Once they get to know your face - you're good to go.

I ussually try before the show starts, and so you can settle into a comfortable spot. If not, you're stuck in the middle of the aisle, which is "no mans land".

Last year was my first year....I seem to remember more people up and dancing upstairs?

Thoughts? Is it rowdier, more of a free-for-all on the floor, or in loge and/or balconies?

You only sit in the loge... or stand up at the back wall with the other 20 people who get yelled at for standing/dancing.
It is like an unspoken rule that loge is for those who like to sit at a show and specifically buy their tickets there.

my only practical, and somewhat abstract advice is that you shower the night before the show.. sometimes the 'wookie' factor can be a real drag. (not that you and sis are wookies mind you

*looking foward to the mayhem irregardless.. let's look for a dickie, eh?

I can't stand the person who finds their way up front and then decides that my aisle seat is supposed to be shared with them or just forces their way into a row therefore squeezing everyone tighter in that row and just making it generally unpleasant for all who paid for a seat in that row.

Stay in your F-ING seat !

Kinda rude, isn't it slinkster?

Unfortunately, there are quite a few "just two of us" coming from the balcony trying to squeeze in to other people's seats. Some people don't take too kindly to that sort of thing. Just a forewarning.

To me, "stubbing down" is like butting in line. You got the seats you got. That's life. Not everyone can have a front row seat. If you found 2 completely empty seats, and weren't inconveniencing anyone I guess it wouldn't be so bad. But trying to "share" someone's aisle seat just isn't cool.

it doesn't bother me if its someone from this site, who's not drunk!! otherwise it bothers me a lot. for the most part people are standing the entire show in the orchestra section. i see it as an occupational hazard of going to an abb show or phil show, etc...

I have an aisle seat Row D one night and I definitely ain't sharing it w/anyone! Are the ushers down there on the front/side helpful in preventing this sometimes?

It does get crowded down there especially in the first few rows, D included. The ushers do a good job, but I find just a step or two into the aisle will eliminate the person from thinking he can stake claim to your ticketed spot.

Right on. Won't be the first time I've 'danced' my way to making my space known. And sure as sh*t won't be the last! Is it 3/23 yet?
