10 spots for b&p. Please close door. I will ONLY take ten. No more, no less. Also, if you aren't going to send me anything, PLEASE don't take up a spot.

I think I still have some folks that haven't sent me anything on the Mac show. For those that I responded to, it's still open.

Carlos, I'll save a spot for you on this one, as I promised.

1 MUSIC cdr only, with return mailer. You know the drill.

<<There was another Dominos' compilation thing that was offered here on this site that I took up on, but after a listen, it wasn't anything new. Actually, it sounded like much of the music was already from the box set. Traders keep note...on the other hand, this stuff I mention is quite obscure.

The tracks:

Why Does Love Got to Be So Sad
Keep On Growing-instrumental
I Looked Away
Tender Love-short instrumental
Tell the Truth
I Looked Away-another take
Jam
Bell Bottom Blues-w/false start-instrumental
Anyday-sorry Carlos. It did exist. Clearly, no Duane. Just EC as the axeman
Nobody Knows When You're Down & Out-instrumental with Duane
Have You Ever Loved a Woman-false start by EC
Have you Ever Loved a Woman-different take-only EC
Bell Bottom Blues-very short instrumental
Why Does Love Got to be So Sad

Sometimes, it is difficult to figure out if Duane(he is obviously not there for all the songs) was indeed there or not, due to his parts being REAL down on some of the songs. Separation isn't the greatest(portable after all). Maybe they were overdubbing without Duane on some of them? Some of the parts seem quite exact with the album.

The obvious keepers in this set are the slow blues numbers of Nobody Knows When You're Down & Out, & Have You Ever Loved a Woman. Duane IS there. Goes to show how "live" those cuts were on the album. Nobody Knows is done as a slow blues instrumental, where you can hear Whitlock singing without a mike. Have You Ever Loved a Woman has a false start by EC as he counts it off. This is the best track by far. It has the hoots & shoutin' from everybody in the studio, as they are clearly witnessing something special. The solos sound EXACTLY like the Layla album. But the people egging them on really makes it a treat. It sounds like Duane ends it by saying... "that is a good one. Could do it about ten times." >>

Actually, Carlos doesn't count for a spot. So we still got 6 spots open.

Quick note:

It's called the Radle tapes b/c supposedly, it was recorded on his portable during the Layla sessions. Again, SUPPOSEDLY, he was keen on listening to playbacks & such... although if you ever see pictures of him on the inner sleeve of the album, you would never think it.
