I was born in 78... grew up in the 80's as a young kid... discovered my taste for music in the late 80's... Floored by INXS's KICK. Can't get much better in my opinion!

I've always been a big fan of The Church.

John Butler Trio is a great newer band.

Not familiar territory here....although Australian import cd's are cool.

Bon Scott is about to get some honors in the Land Down Under.

I liked Men at Work and INXS.Church and Midnight Oil were pretty wild.
I don't think I've ever listened to an AC/DC song in its entirety.
Saw the LRB in a freebie in St Joe a few years ago and really enjoyed them.
I remember being at an ABB concert in the 90's outdoor Starlight Theater in Kansas City and they were announcing upcoming shows...when the stage announcer let all know that Air Supply was coming, it was like nobody heard a word he said.

I saw Midnight Oil when they toured off of Diesel and Dust at small theater in MPLS. Very good show. Their front man is like 7 feet tall, shaved head and moves like he's having siezures. Their melodies and layered guitars are great, but so mnay of their tunes are fiercly political.

It's a mystery to me that Cold Chisel didn't break worldwide. Great singer. Jimmy Barnes, Great guitarist, Ian Moss, Great songs. I saw them in Oz when they reformed in 98 and they were tremendous.

Who was the band, I want to say Triumpherate, that did the song that was mainly an instrumental, but started "yodalady yodalady yodalady yodalady odalady odalady oh bum bum"?
They were Ausralian as I recall. Haven't thought of that album in years.
