Dumb question, but is that Willie Perkins in front of Gregg's organ?

Where's the pic from?

Looking at this picture (thanks for posting Abbstillrockin04) it reminds me how nonchalantly these guys all played. It always struck me that this was real talent. The great ones make it look easy. They had no need for showy theatrics to make up for the lack of songplay. They just played & let the songs speak for themselves.

I don't think so. Especially if he's sitting down (hard to tell). WP was not a sitting down during a gig kind of guy. Like a shark, always moving.
He is standing next to Gregg in the picture on the inside sleeve of Duane's second anthology album, however.

Correct, Elizabeth -- except I think Willie is seated in that photo, as well as Gregg...
don't mind me, I just finished my after dinner cup of coffee -- little bit wired

I remember seeing the ABB (and other bands) in the early 70's - people were allowed to come up and even sit on the sides of the stage. I remember a Nitty Gritty Dirt Band (the Dirt Band) show that I went to. A couple of folks were sitiing on the stage (like the guy in front of the organ on this picture) and a cop walked out and started hassling them to move. John McEuen walked over and waved the cops away. The crowd responded with applause. Those were the days!

Seated in this photo or the photo in the Anthology albu?. In that one, he's standing on some stairs with his hand on his leg - I think it's at Central Park. In this one, just doesn't look like his profile - always a possibility though.

It looked to me as though he was seated at the left of the Anth. II album -- having moved not too long ago I went to look for it & of course couldn't find it. You're probably right, doesn't make much difference either way I guess.
