Ok, I have THREE "new/old" Alison Krauss and Union Station shows to vine. I am vining the STANDALONE BURNER copies. These are also known as CONSUMER COPIES. You really need a COMPUTER BURNER to copy these shows properly. The copies I am sharing are TRACKED copies. Previously two shows were just on one track. I am sending these shows first to Donny/Bhs72, and then to a new guy, James Maynard, then the shows are open to the general public. The first person in line will be number three. These shows are made possible through the kindness of Pete Pederson from Tapetrader.com. I had these shows last summer but they had burner static throughout, as did the other shows he sent to me. Now Pete has reburned these shows and I am doing what I can to share them with you. If you do not have a computer, you should probably not copy them on a consumer burner. A consumer burner cannot copy a consumer copy in DIGITAL MODE. If you copy the show in Analog mode you add TAPE HISS. So I recommend you copy the show on a computer burner. Also, if you copy in analog mode, you will have to lay down NEW tracks. Please copy this on a COMPUTER burner.

The 2004 shows are on GOLD MAXELL standalone burner discs. The 2003 show is on a SILVER SONY standalone burner disc. ALL shows are DISC AT ONCE. INSIST upon receiving what was vined. Some people like to switch out discs. PLEASE report when someone has altered the vine.

I like this image of Alison Krauss because she is dressed down for a change. The picture is a bit on the HUGE side, but at least she is not dressed in her usual finery.

The Sony Disc with CMT Most Wanted is giving me lot's of troubles. I've tried it in three drives with EAC in secure mode and can't get it to go. I'm using burst mode right now and it IS extracting. Not sure if I'm getting a good copy or not, but I'm just going to let it fly on to the next branch on the viine.

As far as I know, the SONY CMT disc is from the FIRST burn. I mentioned that this was a REBURN, well, that disc is from the OLD burn. I think my copy is a good one, but perhaps I should listen to what I have. I don't really like the CMT show. I have it also on DVD, but all the songs are basically ones from the official DVD, and the chick interviewing the band was fairly annoying. The band deserved a better interviewer. I'll check my disc, but if the problem is down the vine line, I would appreciate a spot on this cd. Thanks.

I PMed Donnie and he had the same problem with the CMT disc. I'm not really worried about it myself.

My apologies to all. Totally overlooked this package. I too have been having problems with a couple of these discs. Maybe it is just me. One doesn't work at all and another gives me "pops" which are not on the original discs. Not sure what is up but I am sending these along anyway. Soory for the delay.

The Country Music Television disc should be PUT INTO THE TRASH. I don't know what is wrong with that disc, but I removed it from the listing in the initial post of this vine. If there are further problems with the discs I need to be advised of the issues. As far as I know the shows should be in good condition. I cannot promise that there might not be a pop here or there, but the shows were NOT burned on the fly. I do believe I might have heard a pop or two on one of the 2004 shows, but I don't think it was anything more than an isolated and rare instance on the three recordings left in the vine. Really, I don't know why the vine is not being received better. I have not knowingly added shows to my trade list which are flawed to any great degree.

Your discs are fine Dean. The trouble was on my end for some reason. I didn't hear any from the disc you Vined. Strange because it plays fine on the hard drive but everytime I burn a copy I pick up these pops. No troubles. I just won't put it on my list to trade.

Thanks for the great music.

Bumping it up so I don't have to look so far when I get it in the next couple of days. Pony Express always takes a long time out of Canada.
