yes virginia, there is always hope. and there is a little bearded elf to spread joy this time of year. what do the good little boys and girls want to hear? first the little boys tell me and then the little girls come here and tell me too. oh little gnome, what should it be.

Who's Dunae? Is that one of those "Lord of the Rings" charactures?

Crossroad Blues, she might be Korean. I knew a girl from Seoul named Yunae. You never know where Tolkien got his inspirations.

Re: recent posts on this topic.
Is there a computer equivalent to "drinking and dialing" that they refer to in that "Sideways" movie? These last few posts are an example of that. You people are having way too much fun LOL
P.S. notice all the edits on this post. I'm checking my spelling and I'm checking it twice!

I've read the interview somewhere of Butch Trucks and he mentioned that there are many many soundboard tapes exist at record company. (Atlantic records?)
Also he mentioned that ABB are doing get the right of those tapes back to them.
It's so sorry that I can't remind where I've read this article...

* It's so shame enough that I mis-spelled Butch's name.... I'm so sorry...

Typical corporate greed -- these music honchos know that these tapes mean more to the musicians who made them, than to them or anybody else -- but it's all about $$$$$$ -- that's the only morality these types know -- who you can screw for money.

Look no further than John Fogerty -- who was sued by a record company -- for plagarizing himself -- and the record company won!!!
Gregg ran into a similar problem when his One More Try anthology, a brilliant collection of his music, was pulled off the shelves almost as soon as it appeared.

Thankfully, Peachnutt and those in the know about these things say that more Duane-era releases may be, or are, forthcoming.

Actually the record company lost. Doesn't change your point though.
