I just gotta know somethin', do you ever do B&P's? Or are you too cheap to buy cd-r blanks too?

I have NEVER cut anyone out of an offer, but after the post you made in Denza's thread after his VERY generous offer to B&P is going to make you a first.

A little bit of class goes a long way!

Did a little search on sharinginthegroove:

8 posts in six days,

5 attempts at freebies,

and an ISO, which I assume someone covered him on,

Missed the DVDenza, and got cut from Libbys'

Still batting .500

One question:

Where's the sharing?

Sharinginthegroove

Might as well logout, sign up again, get a new screen name and start over, cuz if Libby blackballed you, you're toast

And before you start badmouthing Sista Libby, be advised,

She has a LOT of friends here

Libby, sorry to crash your thread, but indulge for a minute.

Yep, noticed that last night. Looks like Mr. Sharing ( ) is here for one thing and that's TAKING. Now I didn't offer here for quite awhile because of getting aggravated with folks exactly like this. It's Christmas so I'll be nice, but I will say I hope you figure it out quick or find a new place to mooch.

Slammer is right. Don't even think about messing with Libby or I'll have your Funky Bitch right here.

Not taking a spot, but nice offer Lib!

On the matter of STGroove......

Maybe, since he/she is a newbie we could cut him/her a little slack (just a little) in case they are not familiar with the trading forum. It may be that they don't know that it is kind/generous etc. to re-offer. Of course the statement made in Denza's thread was inappropriate, but maybe they meant it in a joking way and didn't realize that it would offend the folks here. If STG is new here and is just getting started, we should enlighted him on the the way trading/freebies are done here. Let's try not to think the worst of someone who may be just getting started with their collection. We can reserve that judgement for what they do next.

STG- maybe an apology would be in order. If you were truly unaware, then I'm sure everyone here would be forgiving, they are all kind and understanding folks. If you are just here to take, then accept the criticism and move on, otherwise, a fresh start would go a long way. Go out and spend a few bucks on some DVD's, even a short stack, and take Denza up on his offer.

Happy/Merry (insert holiday or pagan ritual of your choice).

Hiya Lib! And a Very Merry Christmas to you.

I saw Son open for Muddy Waters back in day, '74 in my student union ballroom.

Cost me a dollar. Do you think I overpaid?

Anyhoo, I'd like to hear some Seals from that timeframe, so, I'll take advantage of your kind generosity.

I would be #4.

A point considered and the one I went with last night Nicole. I guess seeing this first thing this morning jabbed sore spot. Your point is well taken though.

However, the B&P I offered is no longer open.

On the bright side, my Christmas list just got two entries shorter.

I appreciate your input, Nicole. I considered those points before posting. However, his post was tasteless and rude, imo. At least he said thanks. If he has a situation that impedes purchasing supplies, a PM explaining would have been sufficient. Knowing Dennis the way I do, some class would have gotten him some DVD's.

If this situation changes the way y'all think of me or presents me as having bad character, I can't change that thinking. I try to live right, do right and give as much as I can. In this situation, I 'm going to follow my vibes.

Y'all have a great day and wonderful holiday in whatever capacity you celebrate.

Lib, I don't think this changes the way anyone feels about you at all. And I don't think anyone thinks you have bad character.

I think you're right about how he handled the b&p situation, and he probably would have gotten the DVD's if he'd acted differently. I think we all have differing opinions based on what we read here, and since this is not a perfect medium for expression, and there is no way to interpret the tone of voice, inflection, or other gestures (facial or otherwise), the written word may not translate in the same way it is offered. I wasn't saying that anyone was wrong in their take on STG's statement, just that I remember what it was like to be a newbie and wasn't aware of how everything worked until I hung around for a while and some kind and generous folks helped me out.
