Why Does it take almost a year from the recording studio to get an albumn out in 2002? Any ideas anyone.

The songs have been growing in concert and the band has gone back to the studio to "update" them since the initial recordings in December and March. There's also been mixing, producing and artwork and whatever else to deal with. Give Warren a little bit of a break.

Because that's how long it's taken. Believe me, it's not because we're not trying. We've got legal crap flyin around. We've got to decide how we're going to distribute it. It just ain't easy. Trust me, we're moving as fast as we can and not wind up getting the shaft again. that may actually be at the heart of our being so deliberate. Called being gunshy.

What I heard on the Kirk West interview was in line with what Butch said. They still are making arrangements to mfr/distribute the album. The legal stuff doesn't surprise me. The last thing they want to do grant someone else the rights to too much beyond distribution of the physical unit. Otherwise you end up with the Bros. losing control of the recorded music (read: Capricorn and Sony). I'm totally with Butch about doing it right rather than doing it now. The more self-sufficient they are, the less likely they are to get screwed out of that to which they are entitled.

Hopefully they all have enough money stashed away by now atleast I would hope so, and I would hope it's enough money were they can make sure that other important folks that took care of them are taken care of like redog, kirk, Bert etc. Remmember you Can't take it with you when you go.
