Guerrero had yet to fully turn on Batista. Smackdown will be here in Cincinnati at the end of November and the local commercials mention a tag team match where Guerrero is on the other team and going against Batista. I hope it wasn't the juice, but he sure looked like he partook. Bummer for his family, for sure. RIP>

Its only a matter of time or how many bones Mr. McMahon wants to stack up before they took a good look at the juice used in this industry. And it probably ain't jsut the juice either. These guys are on a grueling schedule traveling from city to city and putting their bodies through extreme physical stress every night. I have to believe that some are using things to bring them up and things to bring them back down. Combine that with the juice and its an explosive situation for not only the heart, but kidneys, liver, etc.

Its too bad, I loved Latino Heat.

An even sadder note is that with Batista's back injury, the original plan for last night was for Eddie to win the World Heavyweight Championship in a three-way with Batista and Randy Orton.

What an incredibly sad day to be a wrestling fan. Tonight's Raw and Friday's Smackdown should be very emotional, reports from the tapings were just that.

Just a sad, sad, sad day.

Eddie Guerrero passed away this morning in his hotel room at age 38.

He had an early wake-up call shortly after 7 a.m. that he didn't answer. Chavo Guerrero, who he was traveling with, called the room and again got no answer. When knocks on his hotel room door went unanswered, security got the door open and Eddie was found dead in the bathroom. The belief at this time is he suffered a heart attack while brushing his teeth.

So unbelievably sad.

Damn.Latino Heat was the hombre. One of the best wrestlers pound-for -pound ever IMHO.His farewell match in ECW with Malenko was an all-time classic.I'll not jump to conclusions, but given Eddie's history of addiction,I can't help but wonder if he had been using again.RIP vato....

Didn't see the show last night, I went to a basketball game, it's sad that another great wrestler is struck down before his time due to whatever reason. Unfortunately, the stigma of wrestling allows it to go virtually unnoticed when it comes to using and abusing their performers. I don't know what ultimately caused Eddy's death, I'm sure we'll know soon enough, but there is no doubt he was on the juice to keep his size up to where he could be a useful commodity for Vince McMahon. Vince will wash his hands of whatever and say it was (insert wrestler's name here) decision to use steroids and I don't encourage nor condone the use of that stuff. While he winks and nods at his entire history of running the WWF/WWE for the last 20+ years. It is common knowledge that your chances of getting to the top working for him w/o bulking up into a freak is almost nil nad none. The only 2 guys that I can think of that did it were Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels and they rose to the top at the time of his steroid trial when he probably felt the need to push "smaller" talent. Eddy's death isn't the first and unfortunately it won't be the last to come too soon. As a longtime wrestling fan, here's hoping someone will finally take the initiative and clean the business up since those who run it won't.

Guerrero's death confirmed as heart failure

Eddy Guerrero's death was attributed to heart failure according to the preliminary autopsy report. Vicki Guerrero on wwe.com stated the heart showed signs of damage, with worn blood vessels and the heart was enlarged.

Those are the usual signs of steroid use. Those are long term affects that can catch up with you even years after you stop.

The show was great last night,a nice tribute to kick it off with the roster & Mcmahons out on the podium,10 bell chimes of silence then the crowd started a "Thank You Eddie!" chant. There were some real heartfelt eulological sit-down segments with his closest friends in the WWE,lots of tears, even had me teared up once or twice.I regret what I said in my last post about him,I have no clue what the cause was, just went thinking out loud again & that was the 1st thing that popped into my head about his sudden death.

For all the things that WWE does that we get disgusted with, they did a wonderful tribute last night. I had a hard time keeping it together during the comments from Chris Benoit.

Viva la Raza!!!!

RIP Eddie...everyone will miss you dearly.

From all accounts he was supposedly clean as far as painkillers or recreational drug use. Since he had an enlarged heart it appears that HGH or steroids played a large role in this happening, since use of those drugs will cause the condition that was noted in the autopsy. Hopefully a few of the guys on the roster will take a long hard look in the mirror and get off this stuff before it's there turn.

Wrestler Ric Flair Accused Of Road Rage

POSTED: 5:35 pm EST November 28, 2005
UPDATED: 6:50 pm EST November 28, 2005

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Pro wrestler Ric Flair faces assault charges after a road rage incident on Interstate 485 in Charlotte. Another driver said Flair attacked him and his car.

The driver said he was on I-485 on Wednesday, trying to get out of town for the Thanksgiving holiday and traffic was slow.

The driver said he noticed someone behind him flashing their headlights, so he hit his brakes.

The driver said the car then pulled along side him, police said. The victim said he immediately recognized the driver as Ric Flair.

The driver told police that Flair got out of his car, walked over to the vehicle, grabbed him by the neck and damaged his car.

Police said there are two warrants out for Flair -- simple assault and damage to personal property.

Flair's attorney, Richard Finnell, said Flair is unaware of the warrants. He said Flair is in Michigan this week for a pay-per-view wrestling event.

Finnell said Flair would be back in Charlotte on Tuesday.

If you see a driver not obeying traffic laws, call the "HITS" traffic hotline at (704) 432-2120.

Not too much longer, they are actually getting Mickie some wrestling training as they've been shuttling her back and forth to OVW for more experience. She's actually got some natural talent for it. She's been working OVW matches with Jillian Hall (who actually uses a 450 as a finisher...picture that...apparently it's as ugly as it sounds).

Isn't it something how much better the booking is when they actually use a long, slow build...it works, and its always worked.

Ric Flair denies road rage accusation

02:59 PM EST on Tuesday, November 29, 2005
By STUART WATSON / 6NEWS Charlotte

Charlotte pro wrestling icon Ric Flair turned himself in to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office Tuesday afternoon facing allegations of assault stemming from road rage.

A Waxhaw man named Robert Ted Steele, 29, accuses Flair of yelling and cursing at him, grabbing him by the throat and kicking the door of his Toyota 4-Runner in the median of Interstate 485 the evening before Thanksgiving.

Flair, known to wrestling fans as "The Nature Boy", faces misdemeanor charges of simple assault and injury to personal property. Flair and his attorney said they will fight the charge.

6NEWS

Ric Flair turned himself in to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office Tuesday afternoon

"Ninety five percent it's great being Ric Flair, five percent it's not," Flair said after walking out of the booking room Tuesday. "But the people here in Charlotte in that system right here treated me like a million bucks. It's a great reflection on Charlotte and the city it is. They treated me with the utmost respect and it's not a bad deal."

When asked if it was road rage, Flair responded, "No road rage."

According to the warrants, Flair grabbed Steele by the neck and squeezed, leaving visible red bruising. The warrant accuses Flair of telling Steele he had his tag number and should knock the (we'll say stuffing) out of him.

A second warrant charges Flair with kicking the door of the white 2001 Toyota 4-Runner and causing more than $200 worth of damage to it.

Flair and his attorney said he's not guilty of the charges.
