Clay,

Newbies don't like Pink Floyd I thought everyone knew that.

OK,

KCJImmy has a lot of ABB - Doesn't qualify for "Newbie" status

KCJImmy has Zero Pink Floyd - Unless you count the Vynal (SP?) Bootleg I bought in High School which I NEVER traded once. Those LP Stampers were expensive when I was in school.

So as a Pink Floyd Trader I am by all rights a "Virgin Newbie" and not a bad groveler either

I only have two newbies, but I'd love to get a copy of this. Do three newbies require baggier pants?

Careful With That Axe Eugene
Echoes
Childhoods End

If you would like a copy of this, PM me your address and I will send you a freebie

Know the name of that vinyl bootleg? I used to collect bootleg floyd vinyl . . . really into it from . . . about '83 to '89 or so.

I don't remember but I still have it in my collection back in KC. I would remember it if I heard the title. I'll be back there in a week or so, I'll check it out. I have a lot of Led Zeppelin bootleg LPs too. The guy that owned the record store I used to buy them at had to explain to me why he kept them somewhat hidden. I asked him about ABB and he said he didn't have any but that they used to be a dime a dozen. I've always been a day late and a dollar short!

About 20 year later I found this place.

The first time I saw Phillybob's list he had around 500 ABB shows. I nearly wet myself

I used to have a vinyl bootleg of the Knebworth '75 show, I think it was called "Raving & Drooling" . . . it "disappeared" during the following year which was my final one at University . . . not sure if it was stolen or whether I forgot it somewhere due to "Brain Damage" (heh-heh) . . . think I can guess which is more likely!!!

Anyway, we appear to be turning this thread into "Clay's Lounge" . . . so if any genuine "Newbies" are checking this out, please be aware that no one as yet has taken Clay up on his very kind offer . . . all 3 spots still appear to be open so please take advantage of Clay's generosity, there are no better offers to be had and no nicer a person to get them from

That was a good one, I had that. Cool cover. I think I sold that to someone here when I was kind of "feeling the crunch" about two years ago.

The pride of my collection has always been "A Great Set," the three-record set from the highly circulated 5/9/77. You basically had all of animals, all of Wish You Were Here, and most of Dark Side . . . the current traded version has Careful With That Axe, Eugene as an encore, but my vinyl set doesn't.
