Got it today, three discs, booklet includes number of fan memories, pics, interesting tidbits. Only two actual Moraz tracks, sadly not Gates, but Soundchaser sounds pretty good.

One very interesting bit of trivia: The Eagles (the Henley bunch and not the McNabb group) opened for YES in 1972........I can imagine what they had to talk about:

Frey: Hey man, if you want a real "peaceful easy feeling", try these colitas.
Howe: bugger off, mate, I am a vegan

Cheers

John,

Yep, the set covers 1970-1988

The Downes/Horne era: Go Through This, We Can Fly From Here, and Tempus Fugit

and only 4 from the Rabin era: Rhythm of Love, Hold On, Shoot High-Aim Low, and Make it Easy-Owner of a Lonely Heart.

Disc one is 1970-71, pre Wakeman
Disc two is 76-79, Moraz and Wakeman
Disc three is 78-88, covering Wakeman, Downes/Horne, and Rabin/Kaye

Dean does the cover art, natch

Cheers

I love Tempis Fugit. The drama album started from Howe/Squire recording some jams

Soundchaser has some of Howe's finest stuff.

have to pick this up

thanks

Peace
John

Is "Gates Of Delerium" included? Always loved that one. What the hell,it's my b-day today so I guess I'll treat myself.

Nope

but sound chaser is great.

On the first disc Jon says "we only have time for a short one"
and then they do a 11 minute version of " It's Love"

Carlos, didn't you mention something a while back about a reissue of Olias of Sunhillow? I've never picked it up, and I see an import for 19 bucks, but if there's a remaster or reissue out there, I'd rather have that.

Is there nothing from 72-76? I saw them the first time on the Yessongs tour in 73 and Poco opened for them! There obviously must have been some connection as with the Eagles. BTW, I saw several versions of Poco and they were better as an opening act.

Mash, nothing from 72-75, and the second disc starts with the Moraz era.

Would love to hear what Vangelis did with Yes during the auditions for the Wakeman replacement......

Droog, ol man, yes, they did release Olias on cd, but as an import, not listed as remastered. However, Anderson is working on a movie project with Dean based upon the Olias story....stay tuned.

In addition, Steve Hackett indicates that The Lamb is due for a 5.1 version and that the guitars are restored to their audio beauty...........XMAS list anyone?

Cheers

Actually the "Sweet Dreams" is from 75 with Moraz. I think they intentially skipped anything from the YESSONGS tour/era. Don't ask me why there's nothing from the TALES tour, maybe because there was so much of that lineup later... I think "Gates" is probably missing because it's on YESSHOWS. - I noticed that there is no "And You And I" either...

Anyway, I think the set is great. i was actually quite impressed with the Anderson/Howe/Squire/Kaye/Bruford stuff from 71. Hearing Howe play on "Astral Traveller" and Kaye on "America" in such good quality was a real treat. I had a huge portion of everything else on bootleg already, but it is still great. I actually love Yes so much that I'm a bad one to give an opinion... Of course I loved it!
