Well, I don't have an iPod so I'm not sure if it's 100% avoidable, but you can minimize gaps when burning by going to Preferences\Advanced\Burning and choosing "none" for gaps between songs. Maybe you can try to re-import the songs after that. It's worth a shot, I suppose!

ipods DO NOT support gapless playback... (without hacking)

it MIGHT work on wav files.... but not sure since I don't have an ipod either...

On MP3 or AAC files (AAC is what ipods convert to when importing, it's supposed to be the successor to MP3)... for a music device to support gapless playback it has to have certain information for the hardware to enable it to "sew" two tracks together...

Here is a page that gives a pretty straight forward explanation oif the issues involved...

Peace

Lefty - there is no way to avoid the very brief gap between songs on an iPod unless you import the CD as one track - which I am sure you do not want to do.

Peace,

Lee

Agreed. I bought mine in May and there's nothing worse than that gap...especially when TGD is hittin' it between for example I Know Your Rider > China Cat Sun Flower...
