Hey folks,
other than more music, is there a difference between LAFE and the deluxe LAFE? I am assuming the quality is just as good on both.
Thanks!

The deluxe is a new remaster. I think its a slight improvement, if you care about those types of things!

More pictures too. The deluxe is a nice overall package.

The biggest plus is you get twice the music on the Deluxe Edition as you do on the original "At Fillmore East".

I recently compiled an "At Fillmore East - Ultimate Edition" 3CD set. Each CD cover has a different shot of the Brothers in front of the equipment stack. The tracklist is as follows:

Disc One
1. Statesboro Blues
2. Trouble No More
3. Don't Keep Me Wonderin'
4. Done Somebody Wrong
5. One Way Out
6. Stormy Monday
7. In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed
8. Midnight Rider
9. Hot 'Lanta

Disc Two
1. You Don't Love Me
2. Whipping Post
3. Mountain Jam

Disc Three
1. Drunken Hearted Boy
2. Duane's closing remarks (from "The Fillmore Concerts")
--exclusive bonus tracks--
3. Statesboro Blues (alternate version - from 3/13/71 late show)
4. Trouble No More (alternate version - from "The Fillmore Concerts")
5. One Way Out (alternate version - from 3/13/71 late show)
6. Stormy Monday (full unedited version - from 3/13/71 late show)
7. Hot 'Lanta (alternate version - from "The Fillmore Concerts")
8. Mountain Jam (quadraphonic remix version - from quad "Eat A Peach")

I guess that will be my definitive version until we get that big boxset of the whole weekend

The deluxe edition is the definitive one to me. The sound easily betters the Fillmore Concerts and the booklet is great too.
