There's some footage from 5.1.71, at UNC Chapal Hill. Some great shots of Duane, Berry & Doucette. I know for a fact that the entire show was filmed and does exsist somewhere? Just havn't found where that somewhere is?

how do you know for sure?

and what about the B&W camera's footage from Love Valley where you can see Duane doing the bird calls?

There is some guy who is a video collector and makes video mixes for people and he has an 8mm vid of Liz Reed, I think it might be from Chapal Hill, I haven't seen it though, he only listed it.

Yes, there is sound. There's one song from each act that played the festival. The ABB part is Done Somebody Wrong. And just this week contact has been made with a retired professor from UNC that says he knows who has the complete festival, and he's trying to get in contact with him. I hope to know something more certain real soon?

Where did you get this footage? Is the DVD available anywhere? Where please!

Thanks

Where did you find that? Never seen it before. Keep watching that 1/2 second thing over and over... awesome to know there is more out there - that doesn't look terrible quality either. Someone has to have more of this stuff with sound... come on it must be out there! Again (broken record alert) it astounds me that there is a guitarist of Duane's stature in existance, and not a single minute of commercially available video footage. Astounding really, when you think of his importance in the great scheme of guitar and rock music history...

First of all, this was not uploaded by me, was by Skydogj who are the member here.
Currently you are able to get the DVD from Vines section or Trades section here.
There are 2 DVD projects of ABB footage Duane era.
One is made by Denza and is most famous package here.
Rest one is by me, and is still opend at Vines section.
If you can not find it, please let me know.

Well I got that little clip from somebody's avatar, and I contacted to him to see if he has that footage for trade, but I never got any response back, and I PMed him a couple times. I remember seeing the footage in clips for the ABB Rock and Roll hall of fame induction, there is more of the band playing, and the camera goes in back of them, and then there is back stage footage of Duane kissing the camera and Gregg blowing bubbles sitting on the grass.

And Clay, please do inform us if you find that footage.

edit: we got to find this footage, too
http://www.thebighousemuseum.org/theArchives.htm
wait for the video clip to load, I wonder why they didn't leave the original music in there.
I'm sure the Big House has the rest of the video now, they said they have the video footage.
Imagine seeing One Way Out, the exact one from Eat A Peach, on dvd.

You don't have to purchase. Most of the footages listed above are circulated as trading.
However, I don't know silent footage of Boston/1970 as ever....

Clay is right...I was sent the tape and did the original transfer to digital which includes this UNC segment and the tape was complete with one track from each act that performed. This was filmed as a college project. I pulled all the info I could off the tape and have passed on the info to the person most likely to be able to uncover more footage. He has worked diligently at this for some time now. It's up to fate now...

You did a great job with the Duane & Berry video project, Denza. Keep us "posted" about this UNC footage. Whether it's tomorrow or next year, I know we'll want to see it just as bad as now.
