Tomorrow night's show in Columbus, Ohio will be our 6th. time seeing them. We saw Gregg & Friends at Pierre's in Ft. Wayne a couple of years back as well. Great live band.

34 shows? Holy ****!!! I usually see them once a year. I'd like to see them more, but I've been re-modeling my Mom's old house and that's taken up all my free time (not to mention money).

Nothing personal but I hate you. 81 times and I wouldn't know what to do with myself.

Wow, great job Dave! I think I'm around 52 or 53 but it would take a while to figure out year by year...It's been pretty steady since 1989 though. My first show was in 1976...

yes - we've grown tired of jello shots before all those hundereds of ABB shows we attend, so now we mix gin and yogurt.
Beneficial bacteria and juniper berries, and alcohol in an easy to carry plastic container.
Yougin - it's the perfect addition to your preshow events!

I have no idea how many ABB shows - less than some folks might think (I skipped the entire 1997 thru 2001 years.)
Seven so far in 2005, have tickets in hand for 5 more, might add a couple more...

Man if I ever won the lottery I'd do one of two things:
A) Tour the country with them. What a better way to spend the Summer.

B) Hire them to play a private party.

Saw them once in '92, once in '93.

Took a 10 year break.

Saw them once in 2003.
Four times last year.

Will see them at least 3 times this year.

It's addicting!

Saw GA and Friends this past Feb. in toledo-good show as well.

That'll bring my total to 44 by end of year. May squeeze in a NC show but unsure about that.

66, starting in 1991. 1 in '91, 1 in '94 (hey, this is GREAT!), 2 in '95 (bought my first bootlegs - hey, this is fantastic and variable), 3 in '96, then...just berserk.

66...geeez. scary.

Been seeing them since 90. Must be somewhere between 20 and 30. Some years I'll make 4 beacon shows, some years one but with Jones Beach and PNC thrown in .

Hmmm... hard to remember them all but I figure about 30-40 since my first show in 1976.

I've been to at least one Beacon show every year since 1996, 3 this year.

Total shows, somewhere north of 300! Total Dead shows, somewhere north of 100!

I always hate when someone asks this because I wind up seeming boastful, but here goes:

I was essentially raised on their music. My mother, a teacher (now nurse) with summers free, not only played a lot of it quite often, but used to cart me around at shows as early as age eight-months. She tells me she used to plug-up my ears real good, and since I never gave her major problems she kept bringing me to shows until the band called it mostly-quits. By her estimation, we saw about 50-60 shows together. I started going back with her at age 14 in 1989. I've seen at least 150 since then, about 5-10 per year. In 1996, my 21st birthday gift from her was tickets to three Beacon shows (we hadn't been to the Beacon yet) and a hotel reservation in the city. She joined me two years later and comes back every few years. She'll be at Saturday's show in Pittsburgh with her girlfriends. They'll probably look like nostalgia-types, only they'll be dancing like they were still in their 20's.

For some reason, they've always worked for me. I can hear the songs over and over and over and it still works. I love a lot of other bands, but only the Allman Brothers have brought me out so many times I've lost count.
