E: Wild Horses w/ Steve Kimock on PEDAL STEEL GUITAR

A nice solid OLD School Mule set w/ no songs from the Deja Voodoo record.
Standard readings in the early portion of the set with the Beatles Dosage being the early highlight.
For me, the Game Face> MTN JAM>Game Face was the Band's Big Hitter of the night.
MTN JAM in the Sierra's was a nice treat w/ the band turning it up a notch and digging in for a big groove!
Too bad Kimock, whose rig was set up the ENTIRE set, wasn't in on the fun and explorations of MTN JAM.
He did sound very tastey and complimentary playing Pedal Steel in the Wild Horses encore.

Earlier in the day Warren hosted a " PLAYSHOP " which was really just a loose Acoustic set w/ the audience shouting questions and song requests.
Warren obliged and answered a TON of the questions which ranged from:
" What's your favorite guitar? " to " What's in your CD player currently?".
I've never seen Warren answer more than one or two audience questions before, so this was kind of a treat.
He joked about this "being a Playshop instead of a Workshop" and that he rather be " Playing rather than Working "
As I didn't expect this to be a Q&A session I totally SPACED a set list for this.
Thankfully I know a taper who expertly captured this fine set.
Warren also dedicated his set and whole day's performance to Chet Helms.
Off hand I remember him opening w/ The Real Thing, In My Life, Glory Road, Lay Of The Sunflower, and a Soulshine closer.
He told a few stories and answered questions along the way for the whole set.
Good Stuff! Nice Vibes!
