you can only choose one to play this game people.......the song that did it for me was Black Hearted Woman.

Much respect for my camp counseler Pete, wherever you are, who rescued me from a life of listening to Duran Duran and the Culture Club over 20 years ago....lol

The 1972 album, Eat A Peach.
One Way Out.
Still makes me happy today, the way it did back in 1973.

"Don't Want You No More/ Not My Cross To Bear" is what made me stop and find out who these guys were but "Liz Reed" from LAFE is my favorite most consistantly but others fill the top spot ocasionally.

In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed from the Filmore East, that song has a feel I can't put into words, it was played with such passion, I love cranking it up and drifting off with it.

Oh man! Not another one of these questions....

Chocolate, vanilla, strawberry? Chocolate, vanilla, strawberry?

Whippin' Post, Les Brers in A Minor, HotLanta? Whipping Post, Les Brers in A Minor, HotLanta?

OK, it's Ain't Wasting Time No More.

No wait! SWEET MELISSA! FINAL ANSWER!

Sbowen, I agree!
Linda, don't you love the slide intro to Every Hungry Woman too!

OK, if I HAD to pick, right at this moment (it changes often), it would be Nobody Knows (studio version). It's very frequently Mountain Jam too, though.

Revival (followed shortly by all of Side I of ISouth) is the cut that gave me the fever once and for all.

to make it a little better do it with just originals, which of course would take out all covers including one way out and Statesboro Blues.

It would be Dreams for me. Bar none. The theme song for my life!

"Hot'lanta" or "IMOER" from at Fillmore East... real hard to choose between for me. Oh yeah, those are just my favorite instrumentals. For a song with vocals, how about "Dreams" or "Don't Keep Me Wonderin'" - this is like that old potato chips commercial, you can't eat just one!
Willie Howard (from Mayberryetta, a suburb of Hot'lanta)
PS By the way, the album is AFE, not LAFE. Sorry, just a pet peeve of mine!
