I finished my biz in D.C. early this morning and was able to change to an earlier flight. Therefore, henceworth and otherwise - I'm going to the show tonight! I don't have tickets, but I ain't gonna let a trivial matter like that stop me. Anybody else hittin' Oak Mtn. tonight? Where y'all meetin'?

Hey Brofan! You know the last time the ABB played at Oak Mtn was the first time that I'd seen them since Berry was in the band. It was a dark and stormy night (well, it was!) and I didn't have tickets then either. I bought nosebleed seats, walked in and started chatting with the projection crew (shared profession, sort of). I must've said the right things because they upgraded me to VIP-5th row. I don't expect that kind of luck tonight, so I'll just see what's available. I'll be in there somewhere!

Jimmy, I wish work had not interfered with my attendance at that show. I had certainly planned to go up until Monday of this week.

Say hello to Clay, Kim, Brent, Randy, Rusty and even Patrick Crenshaw who is supposed to be there this evening.....

Glad everyone is having a great time.....

Just in from the show. Great tonight, really a keeper. I expected a "safe" setlist for the co-bill, but they pulled out all the stops. WDWTB was on fire. Derek played a smokin finger solo on Statesboro. Dixie was a surprise treat. Stand Back is one of my favorites and a real burner tonight. The real highlight was Mtn. Jam. Derek rook that song places I've never seen tonight. His straight lead was phenomenal tonight. Hope this one makes the rounds because it was epic. I didn't plan on attending due to work, but my trip to Indiana was cancelled so i got lat minute tickets and it was well worth it. I was expecting to just whet my appetite for New Orleans, but this was a great show.

Hammond and KCJim, good reports. Good to see real time cool posts, as opposed to five word insignificant drivel. I would have loved to see Gregg's old bandmate Pete Carr show up while in town down there, but still sounds like a great jam. Thanks for the update.
