Despite already having a presale and being on sale to the general public, last night Ticketbastard released more tickets to the Crowes show next wednesday in Boston...unbelievable...already got tix through the "fan" presale but checked availability anyway just for kicks...they released 15th row dead center....and I could have got 5 together...then they had some even better, and some in 18th row...all dead center....the ticketing scheme with presale and ticketmaster just sucks big time...

You need to direct your anger to the band's management as well.

I remember when the Crowes offered their live CD with Jimmy Page on an "Internet Only" basis. Fans were told in no uncertain terms that this was a limited one shot deal and once they were gone, they were gone. So I bought one.

Sure enough, it came out about a month or two later and was being offered at Best Buy for about 20% less, with better packaging and an extra track. When I contacted the website to complain about the blatant deception, I was told that it was a band decision and that the operators of the website were upset as well. So the Crowes not only screwed the fans but also broke a contract with that distributor.

As far as I'm concerned, they have no itegrity. I'm still pissed about it 5 years later.

not to mention that the ones they offered on the internet in the order you wanted them were on CDR...nice bright blue obvious as hell CDR...and the one that was the one they liked, was a normal CD.

Good call. Forgot about that. Back in those days I don't think I knew the difference between Silverback CDs and CDRs.

Some of the best seats I've gotten for shows I've scored just a day or two before the show. My guess is tix targeted for sponsors and promoters come back and are put up for public sale.

And then the Japenese import came out with even yet 2 more tracks (and really cool ones "Misty Mountain Hop" & "In the Light"). Yeah, that was frustrating!
