Hi All. Our band Seven Turns has found itself without a lead singer and is holding auditions for a replacement. We are based on Long Island and gig regularly at the Downtown, one of the areas finer rock clubs. We have played with Artemus Pyle's Saturday Night Special and Molly Hatchet. We are serious about the music and serious about doing the best tribute possible BUT we do it primarily because we love the music... it certainly wont pay the mortgage! We have day jobs and families and gig on average every 4 to 6 weeks. We rehearse one night a week. Sounding just like Greg Allman is pretty impossible, but we are looking for a vocalist who will sing within that style, and he will also need to do a handful of Betts songs. If you are interested or know someone who might be, contact us. It is not necessary that you play an instrument. Contact Ed at: eda@optonline.net

Well I take it you don't need another drummer ... let me know if anything happens.

For those of you who don't already know,Ed A is one bad mother f*ckin guitar player.Hell,he's even got a custom pickup named after him!

As far as getting as close to the Duane/Dickey sound as possible,Ed has pretty much nailed it.

Even if he does like Jimmy Page.

WB.

My younger brother is quite a good singer - he does a great job on on Dion Demucci and John Fogerty songs. But, he has a band, and a job, and soon a wife. And he's nowhere near NY. He lives in Lefty's town, now that I think about it

Good luck anyway, though.
