Oh, to be at the Beacon right now! What a great song, and as many know, one of the last things the original band was working on when Duane passed away.

I'll definitely want to hear this, maybe even more than anything else they've played this run.

Especially since a lot of us have heard all of the other new songs via Live365, I agree. This is the fulfillment of something that should've happened 33 years ago.

wait, isn't this just DTB playing right now? they've been playing my favorite things a lot lately, so it is not a huge surprise to see it played. i hope i'm wrong and the whole band is playing it, but it is still DTB set, so who knows.

Oh for **** 's sake. Tell me I screwed this up. I got a call from PN and he talked about the way Todd was watching Derek during the solo. I thought he meant from offstage, but looking at it for the 16th time, it seems like he probably didn't.

It had to be the DTB....I don't think Gov't Mule and Oteil and the Peacemakers have even played yet, have they?

The order was Jaimoe, Oteil, Derek, Mule, ABB. Another thing I didn't think about. Dammit.

I thought Otiel and his band were playing before the dTb. I guess not. If the ABB are playing as we speak, then either the show will be over before midnight or they'll play a 4 hour set. Neither is likely.

yea, just got off the phone with my brother, he said dtb just wrapped up, closed with joyful noise, and my favorite things was just dtb, NOT the abb.

Much editing has happened already.

If PN had stayed on the phone about a minute longer and I'd recognized the next song as Joyful Noise and known what was what. Ah well.

no big deal, still a very sick derek set, now mule. if they play for an hour too, that already puts the show at 11, meaning it probably won't be over until around 1:30 at the earliest. SICK!

Ah well, thanks for the glorious bliss of believing the ABB was performing My Favorite Things - for the 30 seconds or so it took me to read down 6 or 7 posts.
