Where can I get a strap like Duanes?

There are some companies making knockoffs but rumor is the guy that made Duanes is still around.

I have seen the same guy sell a strap like he made for Duane on eBay. Do a search of completed auctions. I am sure you could track him down somehow.

You need to be a member of eBay and then when doing a search there is a check box for "completed auctions". Don't bother now because the guy doesn't seem to have auctioned one of those straps recently enough for it to show up in the completed auctions search I did using "Duane Allman strap" as key words.

LinnieXX: I saw the picture of the strap and did make a copy so I can have someone fabricate if I cannot locate the artist that made Duanes.

Being a Duane fan (like all you nice folks) I just wanted something that had some type of bond to him.

Thanks for your idea, in fact there are two websites for guitar strap companies that make Duane knock offs. Just do a search for Duane Allmane Guitar strap.

Bendaway: I did figure how to do the search but without the item number it only can go back 15 days.

Thanks again to everybody.......Bill

For the heck of it I tried emailing one of the two strap company sites mentioned. The response was they thought Duane had made his infamous strap himself and they were the only ones to their knowledge now making a replica of it...

The strap was made for Duane there was some historical stuff mentioned recently due to the auction.

I think the artists name was Zebo but am having trouble tracking him down.

Thanks again

On guitarstrapped.com they have like 3 or 4 different Duane-style big ring straps. 110 dollars though. I really want one though, does someone know another site that has a DA replica for less?

Hi, skydogfan1...

Following URL will help you to get Duane's guitar strap made by original artist Zebo.

Hi, Mt_Magnolia_Man,

Replica of Duane's strap can be bought at ALLPARTS japanese site.

But it costs allmost $300 in japan.
Another one I found are from japanese guitar shop. It says that is made of El Dorado, US strap manufacturer. And it costs allmost $300 in japan too.

If you want to buy it, please contact to allparts or El Dorado.
They have a web site for US.
If they don't have a way to buy, please E-mail me.

cheers,

Masahiko, is yen to dollars like something like if something is 2,100 yen, its 21 dollars? I see there are coricidian bottles on there, and I saw the strap, I wish it wasn't so expensive.

Yes, that's right. Currently, 1$ is almost 105 yen.
