Well, I know Cliff often starts a Red Rocks thread, but I am getting antsy for the date(s). I hope they play 2 shows as An Evening With instead of co-headlining, but I guess if sharing the bill means 2 nights instead of 1, I can live with that plan. Is anybody else getting a Red Rocks feeling?

Had my First RR experience last year w/ Bros. and Sci. As far as outdoor shows go, by far my favorite place to see a concert. Definitly something "magical" up in them mountains! First night there was a lightening storm off in the distance while Warren played the sickest "Rockin' Horse" solo. Nature and Warren were in sync at RR!

Red Rocks announcement could be the one to send the wife over the edge. Pretty bad when I'm already being faced with concert restrictions 1 month into the new musical year After last year though, I don't think it'll be a problem, we had a blast!!!!

UncleJon,make plans and you will not regret it. I live in Denver and can probably help anyone with ideas on places to stay and/or visit. The band and many fans will stay at Denver West(important because there are other Denver Marriotts)Marriott because it is a very short ride to Red Rocks from there. However downtown is only 25 minutes away, so anywhere in the area is probably ok.

Jack, not you we named monkey Jack!

I am getting PUMPED for Red Rocks. I would not mind double bill as long as the Bros close both nites. NOBODY should close for the ABB.

Lets get down front, I am willing to do the day on the stairs

Linnie, that's what friends are for. Plus you ladies(sweeties) were so nice and fun at last year's Beacon that it is just my turn.
Neil, I may come with you if I don't get hung up with my crew and/or partying elsewhere!

Not a problem Jack, I am bringing a big tarp and will reserve seats for the GB crew so we can catch the show all together. Last year I kind of Bailed after meeting a bunch of fine folks, this year I want to get everybody down front.

Linnie looking forward to meeting you and your husband as well.

Why not have a party on the stairs and catch the real red rocks experience.

I don't want to ruin his reputation as an old coot, but last year OC brought a pile of show discs as presents for those who showed up at the Marriott!

The feeling is very mutual Linnie!

I'm seriously considering Red Rocks this year. It's time for another trip out West, and what better excuse than to see the ABB? We already have a cruise planned for the second week in July. If Red Rocks is any other week, it's looking good!

'04 was my first time and Red Rocks and I WILL BE GOING BACK again in '05. I love the place and since there will be no Beacon trip for me this year, Red Rocks it is!

If anyone has the NEM shows for this same weekend please PM me I would like to trade for a copy of both show. Smiling Jack I am right there with you on wanting two shows. Everyday we are getting a little closer .

Thanks for the offers on the NEM shows You guys are great!!

***Very Important***
If you plan on heading to Red Rocks in '05, join me for a drink before the show. It would be great to meet some of the people from the site making a vacation of the shows as well.

Thanks & Enjoy

Matt, I'd love to have another pre-Red Rocks party this year if the timing works out. I did the day before the show last year and I think that would be my aim again so that everyone can just go crazy and do whatever the day of the show. So we will just have to get that schedule and see what's possible and who will be around at certain times. MrJames keep watching!

Ever been to The Gorge? For me, they're tied for best. I can't see the Gorge taking a back seat to anyplace.

Its not which venue is the best, they are what they are. Red Rocks is an unbelievable place when the ABB or GD are playin and you look back and between the red rocks 10,000 of your best friends are swayimg. Its a force unto itself

Reminds me of a great saying my daddy used to say

"The worst sex I ever had was wonderful"

I'll check out that SCI from 7/10/04. Thanks a lot, PM on the way.

I live in Denver and had a party last year the day before the show and would do it again if the timing is right, so come on Red Roocks dates! There was a great get together at the the Marriott West the days of the shows last year.
And there will be a party on the steps waiting to get in!

I have only seen pictures of the Gorge from last year's show and it looks wonderful also. A goal for a future show!
