I have been listening to a lot of 2000 shows and Gregg's rendition of Loan Me a Dime is top notch. Pure blues. Stormy Monday is also right up there, along with Desdemona but I think I have to give Loan Me a Dime the nod.

Not to mention the supersonic duo of Derek Trucks and Jimmy Herring that summer. What a combo!!!!

Loan Me a Dime is probably my fav as well, partially because the whole band kicked that in 2000. That was a great tour, 2000 summer tour.

His vocal parts on "The Sky is Crying" in Chicago on August 8, 2001 (I think) were beautiful.

"Stormy Monday" keeps getting better & better, if that's possible...
