anything from season's greetings from moe. the "carol of the bells" has some very jerry garcia-ish guitar throughout and the "silent night" is sweet, too. the only lame song is the original by al schnier.

i detest and despise and loathe "santa claus is comin' to town" by springsteen. but then again anything by that guy drives me nuts.

generally speaking i feel the same way about bruce...but HoochieCoochieGirl took me to a springsteen show about 10 years ago in November...for the encore a huge ass christmas tree came down on the stage and Clarence and Bruce really tore up "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" so i sorta dig it for strictly nostalgic reasons.

hell, i even like "Santa Baby" done by Madonna...but i'm freaky like that......

It's not Christmas without "Linus & Lucy" from "A Charlie Brown Christmas".

Well, if you like traditional Christmas music, with the emphasis on the Christ part, I'd recommend checking out the Christmas album from my favorite female vocalist:

Christmas with Yolanda Adams

Merry Christmas, Baby
- Charles Brown

This one seems to get re-worked by somebody every year. With all due respect, I've never heard a version that comes near the original.
