I am listening to 9/4/2004 Atlantic City, Instant Live.

Disc II, track 5, Desdemona, 00:39 seconds into track someone in the crowd yells
“I like P*ssy”.
Someone double check this for me, maybe I am hearing things?
That almost outdoes the Crazy woman yelling at someone to sit down on the 9-1-2004 Rosemont right before “Come on in my Kitchen”

Hey lets just start a thread, “Crazy folks who hell out dumb S**t & are preserved forever”

At the Bruce Hornsby show I went to at the Kimmel Center he was taking written requests and I realized I hadn't known this, so I decided I'd just yell something out. Some guy had just yelled out Jack Straw, to which Bruce responded, "Come on now, you know we never play that song anymore." So I screamed out Sugaree. And I'm immortalized on tape. It was a stupid move, but I like listening to me

ROFL... I have the Rosemont show and got the biggest kick out of that woman!! She is royally pissed off. I think fans should police each other at these shows. If that guy had been next to me and done that.... I had 4 really drunk people in the box next to me at the 10-10 show and they were yelling and screaming at each other during the whole show. Quite distracting to say the least.

Others that suck are the ones that scream "whipping post!!!!" at every possible moment. Theres a spot on the 10-10-04 Selma show where some fool is doing it during a very delicate part of a Warren solo. I mean CMON!! how rude is that? Like the band is going to stop what they are doing after realizing that its the 100th time tonight they heard someone yell out Whipping post so they can play it just for you.

I was at a Steve Earle show and someone kept yelling Copperhead Road. During the song Valentines Day he yells again. Steve stops dead and says " Why don't you shut the F#*k up?"

I have a habit of yelling "THANK YOU!" after certain songs. It just comes out without thought, I can't help it.

At George Carlin last night, these people were yelling things at him right when he came out and started doing his monologue speech from his book which is about 5 minutes long. So the first thing he says is, "on no, there'll be none of that **** , you're the people who always f**k up a show for me, so there will be none of that bullsh*t while I'm talking, thanks.. and when will jesus bring the porkchops?"

I saw John Mellancamp stopped in the middle of a song to tell two guys who were talking to shut up and go to the lobby if they want to talk. He said people paid for their tickets and deserved to hear his songs. Plus he said that he worked hard writing the song so listen or shut up. He then went right back to the tune without missing a beat.

Steve Earle has always had fun with people requesting Copperhead Road. I don't think he actually enjoys the song anymore because of it.

Ted Nugent was one of the best. During the first song, some **** threw a roll of toilet paper at Ted. It hit him in the chest. He caught it mid-air and threw it right back at the guy. Hit him in the head at which point Ted said "take that mother*ucker!' Funny as hell and Ted never missed a note of the tune. I couldn't believe he actually got the guy who threw it.

Thank you for making the Saturday 9/28/02 show in Dallas the single worst concert experience we have ever had.
Your constant litany about your being from Macon, Georgia all through BOTH bands was wearing to say the least. Who the **** cares? That surely isn't enough reason to talk ALL through EVERY song to nobody in particular and everybody in general you sodden, fat monkey. In fact, your endless stream of "I'm from Macon, Georgia, same as these **** s" (which the DTB is NOT, you beer soaked fart) is the reason you didn't hear Stateboro Blues, the second song played. To hear you screaming that request FOR THE NEXT FRIGGIN' HOUR didn't get it played again, did it, you sloppy, whiskey-fattened anus? Here's another question: after you were informed by some dozen people that the song was indeed already played, why did you wait to tap me on the shoulder UNTIL AFTER MY GIRLFRIEND GOT UP? She's not scary, you pan-fried, inebriated, red-necked colostomy. Was that your version of courtesy or are you just afraid of pretty women you latent cocksucker?
Your behavior during and after the show reminded me of every schoolyard bully I had ever met with the exception that THEY didn't need alcohol to develop bravery through insecurity you half-witted, moribund sot. My only regret in writing this is that you can't read to save your life.

Well this is not a story of yelling audience members but even more obnoxious behavior.
This took place at a festival about 10 years ago over here in the netherlands that featured
The Black Crowes as head-liner.
Late in the afternoon Australian rocker Jimmy Barnes took the stage.
A drunk schmuck from the audience started frisbeeing those cardboard beer holders
(for six beers) at the band. He hit the bass or guitar player and than started aiming at Jimmy Barnes himself. Jimmy had to duck every now and than and started to get annoyed.
Suddenly he made eye-contact with the moron (20 or 30 yards away from him) made a "i remember your face" kinda gesture and carried on with his set.
As soon as the show was over he rushed of the stage.
He emerged from stage-right and jumped over the security-barrier and made his way through the audience on his way to the jerk-off who was bragging and brawling to everyone he scared that aussie when suddenly Jimmy Barnes emerged in front of him.
Jimmy put his hands on the dudes shoulder and gifs him a head kick / punch and the guy
was knock-out before he hit the ground.
Now i'm not an advocate for fysical violence but this incident was so cool it got Jimmy Barnes a big ovation as well.

I've got a show from somewhere in Florida where some idiot yells "Free Bird" all the way through the first 15 minutes of the Brothers set.
Just as a reminder , these are the same morons who talk on a cell phone all the way through a movie in a theater.

Let's see back in the late 1970's I watched Neil Young warn folks in Hartford to quiet down or he would leave (it was a tour with Steve Stills) - crowd didn't and old Neil left the stage.

Anyway - this year - drunken fool on the ABB 7.6.04 show keeps yelling for Gregg..."rattle that keyboard Gregg", "Why don't ya play some rock and roll, Gregg"...and on and on....

Somewhere, I have a really old tape of the Dixie Dregs playing a show at a local Birmingham dive (circa 1977). The show was recorded and broadscast on local radio (and thus, re-recorded ). At the end of the show you can hear some kid, not even old enough to have legally gotten into the club yell, "give 'em the clap!".
