Post a drummer for the day! Not many drummers are recognized for being the backbone of a band.. so here's the chance to recognize the ones that were forgotten.

Todays is Carl Palmer: Emerson, Lake, and Palmer

Neil Pert is very impressive and how many trucks alone for his 'kits'?! However I have to go with the less is more philosophy and stay true to my Ginger Baker! I have no pics to post, I'm really not computer savvy!

Keep them coming. Chad, nice touch with Neil. And Bill Ward, that's an old picture, I havent seen his face behind a drumset ever, his set is huge also.

Drummer of the day from me is: YONRICCO SCOTT, he's never forgotten, but it's always nice to hear him jam.

Photos by DTBFAN, Thanks.. hope ya don't mind me using these, they are great pics!

Now what's your all favorite Grand Funk Albums? man I would kill to get a live show of them, any up for trade? My favorite album of all time was survival from grand funk, man all their material is good to me. Except some kind of wonderful, that song annoys me.

One of these days the drummers of the day are going to be Jaimoe, Butch and Marc... one day.. and that's an obvious unless you don't listen to the ABB and are a member here.... which blows my mind. Susie, can you take me to london?? I'd like to walk the streets of soho in the rain

It's hard to say, but I love "Live Album." Raw rock and roll energy! I still get goose bumps at the beginning of Are You Ready.

One of my favorite Grand Funk songs is "I Want Freedom" I love the chorus in that song.

Survival may be one of the most underrated GFR albums. I Can Feel Him In The Morning always gives me chills too.

Two guys, both real powerhouses in their own way:

Simon Kirke of Free,Bad Company.
Billy Mundi of Mothers,Rhinoceros.

Simple, hard hitting.Love the hi hat work by Kirke. He makes it sound like a snare hit almost.
