Were there any recordings (official or audience) of BHLT? According to http://zebro.everperfect.com/allman/others/BHLT.html , they never recorded, but still....

(For you young'uns out there, they were an interim band made up of Dickey Betts, Jimmy Hall, Chuck Leavell, and Butch Trucks. Rook Goldflies played bass but apparently wasn't initialized.)

I saw them at the Cabooze in Mpls but don't remember the date. But they sure were good!

There's also a DVD that was shot in Va....

Cadillac Tracks is a Jimmy Hall song. I too saw them, in Chicago at the Park West back in '82 or '83. I had a cassette of the show which Sang converted to CD and was offered up in the Trades section a few years ago.

Great band -- Cadillac Tracks, killer cut -- purists beware though, it contains an ARP synthesizer solo (at least on the show I have from 1983 Stony Brook) -- essentaiily the same sound as keytar, it's Chuck playing it though
