Anyone there know if this show was an IL recording?

Anyone know who the extra drummer is? Didn't get a good look at him or recognize him last night. I believe it was the first song Jack played when Jaimoe left for a song or two. Filling in behind his kit was a white guy. Just curious.

Hadn't seen the Bros for a couple of years. I thought the show was good.

My favorite of the show was "Who's Been Talking." I'm a huge Derek fan and really love when he can play some different stuff. The rest was solid.

It was an IL show. I got moe's show for $15 and would have bought the ABB for $15. Too bad they charge $25. I left right before the encore started (I've seen my fair share of One Way Out) and there was already a line outside forming for the IL discs. I couldn't understand why these people weren't actually watching the show at that moment.

The drummer who filled in for Jaimoe was probably Paul Riddle.

Thanks.

Maybe you can answer this one. For the past 5-10 years, every time I see Warren, there is a guy we call Lil' Warren tuning his guitar, etc. I'm assuming it's his personal roadie but I've always wondered his name. He looks just like a minature version of Warren. Know his name? Him and Warren long time friends?

Did they announce the guy? If not, I would imagine it was his drum tech. I've seen that happen a few times this year. Jaimoe just sort of sneaks of stage and the other guy replaces him. I guess to give him a break.

No, the dummer wasn't announced. They announced Jack and while Jack was plugging in and tuning, Jaimoe just slipped off stage for a song. I noticed Jaimoe back for Mtn Jam.

Prolly his drum tech then. They certainly would have announced any guest.

The "miniature Warren" is his guitar tech. His name is Brian Farmer. Nice guy too.

Warren's guitar tech is Brian Farmer, and yes he is a Warren look-a-like. Sometimes he even wears a shirt that says something like "Im not him" or something. Hes been with Warren for almost 10 years, if not more

Yeah Jaimoe's been taking small breaks at various shows for a while, usually during blues songs. Warren's guitar tech is Brian Farmer, and yes he does look like a miniature Warren. Apparently his only talent in the world is holding the q-cards up during Don't Step On the Grass, Sam.

That and tuning and taking care of all of Warren's guitars.

I'd put my money on the 'drum tech' theory, too... his name is James van der Bogert.

Marley, wasn't it you who named him "Warren's Evil twin" some time back?

Farmer, not the drum tech.

I'm not sure if I ever said that. I think the phrase I came up with for him was "Warren's identical twin roadie."

Thanx so much for the setlist. I was at this Knoxville show last nite and was superb!! First time ever seeing them. We've never been in the same place I guess for 30+ years. Bought the IL recording and I'm reliving the show all over again. Thanx again!

Go to netspace.org and look under 'Hosted Lists' to read it and/or subscribe. If you do subscribe, I suggest some form of Digest- that way you get a couple of e-mails a day instead of one for every new post.

I noticed on the Beacon Theatre DVD,that Jaimoe take's a break 'n another cat play's drums on 1 tune. In Memphis on Tues.,I did'nt notice him take a break....Thank's for the set list.......I really wanted to hear Instrumental Illness in Memphis.....I never much cared for Southbound, but the way they've re-arranged it...man............it was a hi-lite of the show for me.....INCREDIBLE.... I need another show,I've watched the Beacon DVD 4 time's since Tues...I can't come down !!!!!

Butch is usually the only drummer for Melissa. In concert, I think that happens for Don't Think Twice, too. Jaimoe is the only drummer on I've Been Loving You Too Long.

This is probably the only show I have yet to see an extensive review for..The setlist looks awesome! Can anyone elaborate on the Jams a bit especially the Jack stuff. The Same Thing with Jack must of been off the hook... What were the best moments of the show - and all that cool stuff?...I guess the whole show rocked big time...any tapers there.....Bueller?

I like this little segment right here to end the first set...Beeeeutiful...

I'd prolly say so as well, Marley. James is, was Gregg's drummer.
