That looks like it was a short show-no long jam pieces. Would love to hear "Good Clean Fun". Ive never heard them do that one live.

It was pretty short - about 2:15 or so....

Not a bad show, just nothing too mind boggling incredible....

The Rocking Horse > Drums > Bass > No One to Run With was very cool and close to 38+ minutes (loooooong drums)...

Whipping Post was about 12 minutes....

It was great meeting Brofan, MrJames, Chumrock, Doug, JTuna, Sang's brother and Lefty for the first time last night...great buncha people, right there...

Course it's always nice to see Lee and Sang, too, despite what Coot says...heh

that is like the same setlist from syracuse, minus a song or two. Why can't they switch it up completely... they have a million songs

It's not the same setlist, there are 5 songs in common. That's going to happen when you have a limited repertoire and a few weeks on tour.

Syracuse:
1. Don't Want You No More
2. It's Not My Cross To Bear
3. Ain't Wastin' Time No More
4. Done Somebody Wrong
5. Woman Across The River
6. Midnight Rider
7. Hot 'Lanta
8. End Of The Line
9. Melissa
10. Worried Down With The Blues
11. Stand Back
12. Soulshine
13. Rocking Horse
14. Stand Back
Encore
15. One Way Out

Rockford:
1. One Way Out
2. Ain't Wastin' Time No More
3. Midnight Rider
4. Woman Across the River
5. Old Before My Time
6. High Cost of Low Living
7. Good Clean Fun
8. I've Been Loving You Too Long (To Stop Now)
9. Revival
10. Statesboro Blues
11. Rocking Horse>Drums>Bass>
12. No One to Run With
13. Southbound
Encore
14. Whipping Post

They should have a setlist contest, and each band member makes their own setlist and we vote on it

Man, I would like to have been there.

A year or two ago I passed on a local Dickey show, only to find out later I could have met Tatooneil. That would have been cool - Neil hooked me up with one of my all-time favorite shows back when I was a newbie collector (Jazz is Dead, 4/14/99). I've got to a do a better job of scouting out not only who the performers are going to be, but also what fans will be there.

I had a lot of business to attend to yesterday afternoon and evening, and I did a good deal of driving up and down 294. Every time I passed a Rockford exit, I would send my spirit out to be with you good brothers and sisters.

Did you feel my presence?

(Oh, so THAT'S what that smell was. I beat you to that joke, you'll have to think of something else)

Edit: I made a comment re: Jtuna, thinking I was talking about "tuna." Nothing offensive, but it may have left him (Jtuna) a bit puzzled.

It wasn't a smell so much, Droogie, but a sticky goo that my shoe picked up on the sidewalk as we were walking towards the concert....

Ah, well, next time I will choose a different physical manifestation, as long as YOU choose a different way to carry me there.

Maybe I could be the worm in the bottom of a tequila bottle.

Well, you must keep in mind that 1) A lot of those people were local and have not seen the band, or at least for a long time. So actually, that was a GREAT setlist for those people. 2) They play those songs really well, so it's a sure-fire setlist.

That's a good point, Paul. It does have a sort of "best-of" quality to it (minus the Dickey standards, of course).

Yea, that would be a good show for someone who likes the ABB from what they have heard on the radio.
