The first person who can fix this issue, the person who can get it right for me can have a free show from my list at Tapetrader.com/jamin Rebel

Help!

What can I do?

I can't research the database because I can't fit the entire site into my monitor.

I can't get far enough over to click the prompts.

I have this 3/19/04 show, and thought to offer it up.

I think it is a Beacon show, but I can't click the prompt, the link thingy.

Something needs to be reset somewhere.

It's a internet browser issue isn't it?

I am at a loss, and have never reset or reconfigured anything to use a site.

Might somebody drop me a pm to tell me where I might start to address this wide website issue?

Please?

dean:

right click on your desktop, go to properties then settings and use the slider to change the DPI of your screen resoltion to something higher. (i use 1024x768 - works well for this site)

the text will be smaller, but more stuff will fit on your screen.

good luck. you can send me one of those sabbath shows if you like. (assuming this works, since it should)

also, the TAB button works to take you through prompts on the screen, just FYI. you will see a little box around that area when you have it in "focus"

focus just means the area that you are in and will begin to type in if you started typing

Linnie, I haven't had a chance to test out your solution yet. But just for trying to help I'm going to send you some sabbath as I promised. I have to do something. I could search up all the 2004 shows, I think anyway. But there were three months that I could not get to. And I can't usually get to the show setlists and shows thingy. Anyway, I will check it out later. Send me your addy in a pm, and I'll send some sabby your way. And Thanks for the help.

Linnie, I did as you said and everything got really tiny. I did and redid it all several times. I have only three settings, where stuff is HUGE, normal, and then TINY. And I did this several times. Then I went to the database, same problem, I can't get over to the right. Then I played with the maximize/minimze box and I had done that before many times. The problem lately was that suddenly for some reason the stuff to the far right had become inaccessible. I had been able to get to the right before. Anyway, playing with the boxes today made the database accessible again. It really doesn't make a lot of sense at all, but suddenly I could see the three missing months of the calendar, and I could get to the "go" and reset buttons. Go figure, I didn't really do anything. It's some funky glitch I suppose, but anyway, I am able again to view the database. Thanks.

Dean,

I am proud to announce that I have the exact same problem randomly on my pc at home but rarely on my lap top. Never tried to fix it sometimes it's ok. I am gonna try Ms XX"s suggestions though. If all esle fails I'm sure the guy at Best Buy will sell me a wider computer.

upon further research, it seems to me that the Live Show Database doesnt resize for screens - i have 16" monitor; cant see the links on the right hand side of the screen either. so its probably not your computer, but the layout of the live show db.

does this mean i dont get any Sabbath? dont you have something else i can fix?

I just did a comparison of IE and Netscape on the Database page. In Internet Explorer, several of the "buttons" are too far to the right and the months of Mar, Jun, Sep and Dec don't show up. In Netscape they do. Screen resolution set at 800x600 on a 17" monitor.

You know Linnie if I didn't have an over abundance of crap lying nearly everywhere here, I couldn't just casually give away three freebies and think nothing of it. However, since I do have an over abundance of crap, and since I am also sometimes quite full of crap, and not just here, but offline as well, but me thinks I digress, and I think it was the great prophet Topdroog who said let the freebies flow, let them rain, let them rain down on Linnie's guitar not merely someday, but today. So put away that gently weeping geetar MsL, and step right up, your the next contestant on the, no, behind door number three, no that's a mule, but behind curtain number two.................ta da................Ron Co presents the pocket fisherman................NO,...........I mean K-Tel presents...........ta da....................Black sabbath freebies for Linnie.

Linnie, these three discs are coming to you. Thanks for the help. They are on relatively cheaper discs. You can copy the discs over if you like. I copied these discs to fujis. This is just some stuff I own. I checked all the sabbath shows for skips and filed them away. I think one has a skip on the last track, my Fillmore West show, but that one is not included. This is how I deal with that issue:

Click in the year field above the months. The list will drop down, just click on 2004. Now, use the TAB key, which will take the focus off of the year and go down to the months. Keep tabbing until you can't see the box that is generated by the TAB operation. You will then be on either March, June, September, or December, the months that are not in sight....then hit enter and the month you selected witll come up AND the screen should resize and at that point you can see all the months...
