I haven't heard either of the Arista albums, and people usually say they're the worst...

Best: At Fillmore East

best- Filmore East

worst - Peakin at the beacon.

I disagree with the author of this thread, I think Seven Turns is one
of the better studio efforts.

Peace
John

I'm guessing that those of you who answered the "worst" with anything other than an Arista release are like Marley. Never listened to them. 7 Turns worst? Shades worst? Wow!

I love Shades of 2 Worlds....one of my favorites....

Their best may just be their first...

Their worst, well, that's pretty easy: Brothers of the Road and/or Reach for the Sky....

Sandman mentioned them, Brothers of the Road and Reach For The Sky. If you don't want to get them both, you can reach the same opinion by picking up the 1994 compliation called Hell and High Water, Best of the Arista Years. It is definitely mostly hell, believe me.

Surprised to see Win Lose or Draw on peoples' "crap" list. While I certainly wouldn't consider it a piece of their better work, there are still some good songs on it. To me, it doesn't sound anything like the Arista albums.

Even Peakin' isn't that bad. At least it sounds like the ABB, unlike the Arista albums.

I would bump Win, Lose or Draw up a couple of notches, too, Lee.....just love the title song and High Falls....

I'd bump shades up a couple of notches, also....
