OK i promised PhotoRon i would hold up a MUSIC CDR at the Beacon, since people with stand alone burners require them and it is a source of confusion at times...so as promised...here is a picture of a MUSIC CDR since i never got around to it at the Beacon and a lot of you where not there.

...exactly...the other Jimmy beat me to the point.

I don't care where those Memorex are made (Hey Bob!)...just that they're way too frequently a pain in the ass to extract from....

Music CD's also will say Digital Audio in the little Compact Disc logo, as not all music CD's so clearly state it as this Memorex......Before I began burning on my computer I told people that they should look there for the Dig. Aud. too see if it was compatable.....and Ron if you want ot get that trade underway that we put on the back burner, anytime is good with me...Also if you want to swap some of those non-music discs that you have received with me for some music's, I can do that..I always keep some around just in case ......

They work for me it's maxell's that used to be the problem but now Hey Jim I hear they are made by the Union Workers at the great TY factory, while memorex is now being made by scabs in Taiwan who would have thought but if you get a Yamaha CD burner made in Hiroshima they all work just fine. go figure LOL

Steve, I'll pm ou later re:trade.

Memorex AND Maxell are no problem for my burner.

I sent Gondicar some Sonys and they freaked his burner out.

I stick with Sony and the Fuji All purpose.

Basically whatever BJ's or Staples has at a good price.

I've never had a problem with Memorex, audio or CDR, whether TY or Taiwan. I think it is a compatibility issue with the discs and the particular burner.

If you are worried TIM you can send me your spindle.
