Over the past couple years I've been messing around with some acoustic arrangements of a lot of songs people here will find familiar. I posted this ambitious acoustic version of "Mountain Jam" I put together in another thread a while back, but thought I'd share it since it's crickets around here anyways. All instruments are me: Dobro | Cigar Box Biscuit | Acoustic Guitar | Bass | Cajon

You're the first person to catch that! (or the first person to listen to more than 6 minutes of it)

Thanks!

That's beautiful PCB! I'm on my way out the door to see Phil and the Terrapin Family Band. Can't imagine better music to launch me on my way.

Thanks!

A 69-71 feel to this terrific version . Bass into the reprise is as sweet as ever. I've been listening to this daily .
Thanks for posting this .

Wow, thanks for the positive vibes and just for listening, glad everyone dug it.

I should quit while I'm ahead, but if anyone is interested, here are a few other acoustic cuts that I don't think turned out horrible:

"Back Where It All Begins" on mandolin & dobro: https://soundcloud.com/brettbob/back-where-it-all-begins
"Done Somebody Wrong" on tricone: https://soundcloud.com/brettbob/done-somebody-wrong
"Midnight Blues" on tricone: https://soundcloud.com/brettbob/midnight-blues
"Gilded Splinters" on resos: https://soundcloud.com/brettbob/i-walked-on-gilded-splinters
"Blue Sky" on dobro: https://soundcloud.com/brettbob/blue-sky
"Feel So Bad" on tricone: https://soundcloud.com/brettbob/feel-so-bad
"Statesboro Blues" on dobro: https://soundcloud.com/brettbob/statesboro-blues
"Keep on Growing" on dobro: https://soundcloud.com/brettbob/keep-on-growing

Acoustic Mountain Jam. Just had to check it out. Very impressed. Just got out of the hospital today post gallbladder surgery. I'm sore but it was a nice listen. Just read up above about the Barney Miller tease. Glad I read that. I KNEW I new the passage but just couldn't connect the dots.
