My brother just opened for him with Alanis Morissette at The Kaboo Festival in San Diego, TWO WEEKS AGO!!

I just talked to my sister who was at the show. She said that she was really surprised at how bad he looked. She also said it was a GREAT show.

RIP Tom and thanks for ALL the great tunes Man!!

I just heard on Australian TV that he isn't dead yet, still clinging to life. Hang in there Tom.

The Summer of 1980, when I was 11 and getting into music in a big way, will always be the summer of Damn the Torpedoes. RIP Tom.

I saw him 2016 with Mudcrutch and it was fantastic. They played basically both Mudcrutch albums, plus a few covers and some longer jams. It was a full throttle 2 hour show. Less blue-grassy and more rock than their 2 albums. It was great to see Tom on bass all night. What a treat seeing him up close in a 2500 seat hall from the first balcony.

One really memorable Hearybreakers show was back in 1991. It was during the Braves playoff run and people had small radios on the lawn to hear the Braves. It was kind of surreal, but a great memory.

I saw him about 7 years ago with Winwood as the opener. Heartbreakers brought Stevie back out for two Winwood classics. Then Tom Leadon from Mudcrutch came out and they did two songs from their first album. Was a killer night of music.

RIP Tom. Thanks for fighting the good fight for the fans!

Terrible, just terrible news. Completely out of the blue. Among my fave 10 artists. Was so happy to see him finally live a few years ago in Cologne, Germany. And now gone. What a tragedy. Bloody hell....

Very confusing...more reports and rectifications showing up stating he hasn't passed away but unfortunally may die in the hours to come. Let's keep him in our minds and / or prayers.
