I would love to see that!

If Im not mistaken, the July '73 show at the Garden followed the famous ABB Summer Jam at Watkins Glen man those were the days!

No sooner did I get home from the Summer Jam, I caught a bus (for a big $!) rather than suffer the subway, right to the Garden and scored a tix from a scalper for the last $11 dollars I had to my name

a friend gave me a gift card for our local theatre, cant think of a better use for it..

Thanks for heads up

That looks like just a playing of the Led Zeppelin DVD on the big screen. I'll pass.

Big screen and big sound? Sign me up. I'm going to try to make that happen with my 12 and 14 year old boys.

Good idea,
I went with my 16 year old son to a screening of the 2007 reunion concert film.

Chuck Klosterman on Led Zeppelin:

"For whatever the reason, there is a point in the male maturation process when the music of Led Zeppelin sounds like the perfect actualization of the perfectly cool you………..you simply think, “Wow. I just realized something: This **** is perfect. In fact, this record is vastly superior to all other forms of music on the entire planet, so this is all I will ever listen to, all the time. “

IMHO one of the greatest bands in Rock history. Would be worth seeing in a theater just for the RAH show.

This is what I was thinking. We are on the same page. Ugh, that was awful.

Yeah can't really understand this idea that they are a teenage boy band? Not sure I see the logic but too each his own.

Had a chance to see them back in 1975 at MSG in NYC but we had a serious snow storm that night and I was living a hour from the city and could not get there as I had no car and the person who was supposed to drive chickened out. One of the bands I most regret not seeing live.

Yes that was the show I was supposed to go to. NYC had 8" of snow and where I lived north of the city had even more that day.

The bootleg in your picture is really excellent and there is a straight SB released by Empress Valley label titled " Flying Circus" which most likely was used for the matrix and is one of the best SB from the U.S. tour.

Even if it is all stuff from the DVD, I like the idea of big screen, good sound system, crowd, excitement. I'm there.

Still, if it IS all from the DVD, what a wasted opportunity. I mean....there have to be some outtakes that did not make it onto the DVD.

Hell many of us went and saw The Song Remains The Same over and over so why not? Sounds like a good reason to party especially going in knowing what they are showing. No promised Holy Grail of Zeppelin show.

Wish they had done more of this when I was young and stayed up past 10.

The Zepp thing was a real treat. Even if it was just some material picked from that DVD set a few years back, it was wonderful to see it large and loud.

The stereo mix at our theater was excellent. The bass in particular was loud and clear, and JPJ was a beast on those songs. Well worth attending.

I do not know that DVD as well as I know "Song Remains the Same," but I don't think anything was added. I do think there was some "artwork" added at times, like different filters or graphics impost over the same recording, but I could be wrong about that.
