Got a "wonderful" concert call from Sang last night. Soulshine.

Of course...... I think that is the first time I was actually able to call you from here - I have tried before, but cell coverage is spotty....

There should be anti Soulshine and Rocking Horse cell phone coverage.

Good morning. Going to hit up the record store. Not looking for anything in particular this year.

Afternoon. Went to two record stores today. Picked up some amazing stuff.

I got this 45 of "Dark Globe" with Syd Barrett on one side and REM doing the same song on the other side.

10 inch version of Robert Joshson's "Terraplane Blues". He is on one side and Steve Earle in on the other.

10 inch Gregg Allman. Side A is Whipping Post and I'm No Angel. Side B is Melissa and Midnight Rider.
All live versions. Each side of the album are pictures of Gregg. Pretty cool.

Stoned Side of the Mule. There are only six songs on it, both sides. I tried buying two of them but they wouldn't give me more than one.

Finally, got some Cory Branon/Lydia Loveless for moid. Whatever that is.

I picked up Gregg's and the Mule, since that's really Part2 of The Stones tribute show and I'd gotten the first one too..

Also got a Robert Plant and Jaco Pastorious career retrospective Warner years. Jaco's was the most expensive at $27.

The White Stripes had a really unique album cover, as you moved it around the people pictured changed. It was also $46 so it stayed in the bin.

Thought about a Kenny Wayne Shepard and two different Johnny Winter's but passed on those also.

The Gregg Allman vinyl is cool as hell. If you can find it in the next day or two, grab it. Just for the presentation if nothing else.

The Mule release doesn't have any neat graphics or visuals. It is on the double vinyl so that is good.

Nothing can compare to The Disco Diner in Atlanta.

They should open one in my gayborhood.

Good afternoon. Went out and played my first round of disc golf of the year. Was consistently shooting one or two over par.

Waffle House was too crowded...

Drive was tense again ... 75 miles from Macon it started pouring like hell.....just like on the way down...couldn't see a thing.....finally pulled into a rest stop near Macon to look at the radar...and there was a tornado watch!

Drove to Clarksville, Tn and got a room....going to go over to Applebee's for a beer and some dinner. Probably have 6.5 hours to go......

Saturday, watched kids baseball/softball over the weekend. Got burnt like a big ol red tomato. Did some yard work yesterday. Couldn't ask for nicer weather over the weekend to get sh*t done.

Got almost everything I wanted. I spent $63. My buddy only bought three things and spent $100. He still owes me for a Grateful Dead album I got for him last year at Record Store Day and he drops $100?
