I'll go off track a little bit and say that to me, Mountain Jam on 6-7-14 is for me personally the Mule show of all Mule shows. And it's available at www.muletracks.net. I'm not into the Mule doing The Doors, but that's the encore only. Warren's voice just doesn't cut it for a Jim Morrison imitation, to me, anyway. The rest of the show is so otherwordly that it hardly matters.

If you guys are looking for a good MuleTracks, you absolutely, positively need to download 11/4/2006 Atlanta, GA at The Tabernacle. The first set remains the bar against which all other Mule shows are measured for me.

I have yet to hear a ScoMule that touches this one. It is effortless perfection; high energy, excellent wah-solo from Danny and then RIPPING lead from Warren. It never lags even for a moment.

Every song played is a top performance but even there, in addition to the ScoMule, the High & Mighty, Bad Little Doggie and Slackjawed Jezabel deserve extra props. The whole first set is like this as is the second set but the set lists from the first set is perfection. I have had this show for almost 10 years now and it is still one of the most played in my rotation by far:

High & Mighty>
Bad Little Doggie>
How Many More Years
Rocking Horse
Slackjawed Jezabel
Effigy
I'll be The One
ScoMule
Don't Step On The Grass Sam

Grinnin' In Your Face
Reggae Soulshine
Million Miles From Yesterday
Time To Confess
Perfect Shelter
Streamline Woman
Drums
Child Of The Earth
Trane
Eternity's Breath
Thorazine Shuffle

That's What Love Will Make You Do
Straight To Hell
Rockin' In the Free World

Encores with K Kinny and D Frakenfurter (sp?)

Based on comments here and some of my own listening, I put together a "Best Of Sco-Mule" playlist. I have been listening to this on shuffle during my NYC subway commute (about 30 mins so 2 songs each way) and man is there some fine playing to be heard! I think this will be looked at as a highlight tour for years to come.

1. What is Hip – Seattle 2/18
2. Spanish Moon – Seattle 2/18
3. Don’t Step On The Grass Sam - Las Vegas 2/22 (for the "Old School Mulers")
4. Wabash – Las Vegas 2/22
5. Hottentot – Durham 3/3
6. Low Spark of High Heeled Boys - Durham 3/3
7. Good Morning Little Schoolgirl – Westbury 3/8
8. Pass The Peas - Westbury 3/8
9. Instrumental Illness - Westbury 3/8
10. Sco-Mule - Westbury 3/8
11. Flip Wilson – Port Chester 3/14
12. Boogie Stupid - Port Chester 3/14
13. Things Ain’t What They Used To Be – Port Chester 3/14
14. Stratus - Port Chester 3/14
