I'd have to say seeing Duane & Greg Allman perform together would be #1 the best, with Johnny & Edgar Winter #2. The Wilson sisters in Heart would be # 3.

Dave and Phil Alvin of the Blasters and Ray and Dave Davies of the Kinks are two brother combinations I saw in the 1980s that would rank up there.
John and Tom Fogerty of CCR are another brother combo of note. Never saw them live, though.

Toy and Tommy Caldwell surprised they weren't mentioned right away.

It dawned on me quickly that I'd forgotten about them - but I got busy doing something else and forgot to add them. Great call!

I've seen
Van Halen
Toler Brothers Band
TTB - Kofi & Oteil
North Miss AllStars
Blues Traveler
AC/DC
Heart
Stone Temple Pilots
Black Crowes
and I'm sure some others

Wish I would get an opportunity to see brothers in Dire Straits & Kinks. I would see the Bangles if they come to Atlanta (they don't play often). I'd probably see Radiohead too just for the experience.

Wish I had seen or was old enough to have seen the original ABB, Jackson 5, CCR, Beach Boys, BeeGees, Marshall Tucker Band, Gladys Knight & the Pips, Carpenters and some others I'm not thinking of...

Noel and Liam Gallagher from Oasis. Probably the best pure rock show I've ever seen.

...forgot about the Young Brothers from AC/DC,but I always felt personally that Angus carried most of the weight, sorry to say.

I wish I would've seen both Caldwells from Marshall Tucker.
That sounds like a good cowboy movie!

I did get to see Cassie & Steve Gaines in Skynyrd before the plane accident though.

I was under the impression that Malcolm did all the arranging and a lot of the riff writing.

I did not know that...I meant their live shows but I'll have to listen to their new album without him & see how it compares. Hearing that I definitely respect Malcolm more now though.

How about favorite father-son bands...I recently saw Robbie Kreiger & son (replaced Dickey's band) and they were great together. I thought Kreigers' son nailed a lot of Jim Morrisons vocals pretty well & they seemed to be having fun onstage together. I was really surprised by the chemistry of that band particularly when someone mentioned that Kreiger was the singers Dad!
I can't think of too many other father-son combinations onstage.

The Beach Boys had a couple of brothers. I guess the Doobie Brothers don't count.

There are a lot of lists for this topic but this one ranks them (at least the top two) the same way Bill Graham would have......
