Me too! Tomorrow will be my first show. I hope he feels fantastic!

Both Friday and Sat shows were epic. The sound was as best as Ive heard at the Beacon. The set lists were great both nights, someone mentioned the Fillmore which I agree was virtually all played. The band is enjoying themselves, lots of smiles and banter. I saw n o indication of any issues either night, other than Greggs girlfriend couldn't seem to find the backstage door - twice! Yup she was right beside me once in the first set and again in the second. We were 6 rows back both nights and could see all that was going on. Sat highlights, Hotlanta, Trouble no more, arguably the best version of Jessica Ive ever heard this version of the band play, just off the charts. Before the show, we ate where we always do and both Marc and Warren were there with there families and having a blast chatting to all in the place. My view, it might be ending but, they are going out happy. Gregg, from what I understand was tired as he is fighting a cold or something, nothing serious. His vocals have been very strong and he has been missing lyrics for years so thats nothing new. For those going monday and Tuesday, relish it and be thankful that this band happened at all as opposed to being upset its over. Cheers

By the way Gregg did not sit out all of Liz Reed, he left in the middle of Derek's solo about 7 mins in. Was absent for Warrens solo, the drum solo and Politician and was back to close the tune. Thats what I saw anyway.....

gregg also played a couple of killer solos on the organ, which i have not seen in years. they do look like they are genuinely enjoying being there. it's so obvious that the guitar players are feeling the the end of their company on the same stage. friday and saturday nights were the best shows i have seen in years and back to back great nights. i think monday and tuesday will raise the level. they are definitely going out on top with the quality of these shows..35 years for me, my brain changed the first time i saw them in lennox mass. august of 1979, i have not been the same since..LONG LIVE THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND.

I watched him walk off sooner, before any solos and before the melody I believe. I recall it was at some point during the intro swells, but I did notice someone place a box of tissues on his Hammond at the begin in of the show, so who can blame him for sitting Liz Reed out. Got to k ow when to sit your veterans. Still didn't detract at all from a stellar show.

Surprised that nobody has mentioned how strong Gregg's singing was during stand back....

Very strong, IMO, especially after everything from the last two years...

And yeah....from the upper balcony---I saw Gregg walk off...

And yeah.....I thought he was done for the night.....

Band had a conference without the bassist---(Oteil was in farmers chair) and came back with the kitchen song...

Damn I'm going to miss this band...

I don't think Gregg played a note during Liz Reed. If he did, he left the stage during the intro. It was a long break - and if he left in the middle of a song that kind of makes the same point: it was unexpected and nobody seemed to know what to expect after he went.

I bought tix for Saturday and the final night. After the March run,and seeing Mountain Jam, I had set thebar pretty damned low. So happy to say that it far surpassed my expectations. Even GA's multiple missed cues on Stromy Monday didn't takeaway from me being happy to have it in the set. Speaking of missed cues, doesn't Gregg have a TelePrompTer built into the B3 aka Elton, Steve Tyler, Ozzy, etc? I know he has sheet music he gets delivered as the setlist changes, but I thought he also had a prompter.

Anyway, as everyone reported, the guitars and bass ruled. Except the VERY misplaced Dusk Til Dawn, a wonderful setlist. I loved Come On In my Kitchen!!! That backstage huddle was something you NEVER see any longer. It seemed like they were calling Kitchen on the fly, and talking thru a quick rundown of arrangement and solos. If that were the case, that's **** ing old school awesome!

Finally, any scoop on how they were allowed to play Til 11:45? NYC stage unions has always had super strict rules on stage being dark by 11. Otherwise you are fined crazy prices as minutes tick by. They must've worked out a deal with promoter and union. Did they play past 11 any previous nights this run?

What is the talk I kept hearing Saturday about the Bros doing 3 full sets on Tuesday?

Yeah Gregg leaving at the very beginning of IMOEL was very disappointing. You need that B3 !!
