I thought tickets were supposed to start shipping on the 28th. I haven't received anything yet from TM which is kind of odd, has anybody else?

I sent them an email late last week and asked them if they were going to refund me the extra dollars I paid to have the tickets UPS'd to me within 3 business days of my order. Their reply did not address my question, but they said they expected to have all tickets released for printing by 7/28. I'm not going to fight with them. Over the years I've learned to deal with the charade they call customer service. See you on 10/27!

My invoice from Stub hub estimates delivery on 10/23 for the show on 27th. I think I have reason to be concerned? Thoughts?

The estimated delivery date on stubhub is entered by the seller. Some sellers put a late date in because of the uncertinty of when they will recieve the tickets. They give themselves alot of time for commiting when they will ovenight the tickets to you. I have always recieved them earlier than the estimated delivery date.

Stubhub can be trusted to rectify any problem. (i.e. picking up tickets in Manhatton the day of the show if you do not recieve the tickets when promised)

NO NEED TO WORRY

Interesting - 4 of the 5 posters in this thread who were able to purchase tickets have less than 30 posts on this website. 3 have fewer than 10 posts. Out of curiosity, just how many tickets per each show were y'all able to come off with?

I wonder if that "2 ticket limit" will be enforced when the printing/mailing process takes place.

Carry on.

Interesting observation, I was only asking because the stupid TM app defaulted to overnight shipping when i purchased my tickets ($20 additional charge), when i called TM to get a refund and change my shipping method they switched it to "Canadian standard mail" (even though i live in Massachusetts) which is clearly visible on my ticket order page but not visible on their end. Needless to say I am concerned that the tickets might never get mailed to me. Will Call always works, just prefer to have them in hand before I travel.

I was able to get 2 tickets to the Oct 27th show
I also got 2 tickets for both of the shows in March when Gregg was sick
What difference does it make how many posts you have? Is the number of posts one has, or the length of time that a fan has been a registered member of this site, somehow related to whether you're lucky enough to score on the presale? Say what you mean.

Misfortune (or Mr. Fortune?), First of all, let me extend a warm welcome to you as a new member of this community of true fans of the Allman Brother's Band. I think over time, you'll find that we are a very friendly and caring about each other bunch.

I was only pointing out that several folks, who never post here in the COMMUNITY were not only able to get tickets when so many of the life-long faithful could not - they show up and wonder where their tickets are and why they haven't been shipped.

Now I'm sure that it will come as a total shock to you that there are folks out there who possess various scrupulous and non-scrupulous means of obtaining tickets. I'll also refer you to sites like Craigslist, StubHub, TicketsNow and others where (gasp!) MANY tickets (hundreds!) magically show up for sale at inflated prices. For sale by folks who were able to get (seemingly) many tickets while others got squat.

It just seems like every Beacon season a brand new bunch of folks arrive either trying to obtain the password (like that ever really seems to make any difference) for the FAN pre-sale or trying to determine when their motherlode of tickets (obtained scrupulously or non-scrupulously) will be delivered.

I'm not SAYING that you're one of these. There is certainly some irony at play, but I'm not SAYING that you are one of these.

Again, welcome to the community. I hope that you and I will have the chance to meet and laugh about this someday.

I've been to dozens of ABB shows - just never take the time to post here.
Say what you like about warm welcomes and such, but you're coming across too smarmy for me.

I expect low post count equals younger people with faster typing skills on the TM site. Nevertheless, this old goomer got 'em for the 28th!

Man I certainly hope so. Buying off StubHub is relatively easy if you've got the funds. And some of my friends (some that I've met from this site) used more diligence than speed. They kept at it, even resorting to looking for singles as a way to get tickets from the presale and regular sale. I do hope the "one show, two ticket" limit will be enforced although my educated guess is a majority of the tickets never saw the open market at face.

These things happen. When tickets for the Stones at Roseland were going on sale, I mentioned it to a co-worker who wasn't a big fan (as opposed to me). Of course he got tickets, and I got shut out. I hate him to this day.

I never considered seeing a show at the Beacon till this year although
a long time fan with a lot of great memories.
My wife and a buddy at work all tried to help getting tickets and
no go. I will be very happy when my "stub" ticket arrives for the
upper balcony as already booked a hotel. I am very excited about
seeing one of the last shows (especially at the beacon)
but would have been nice if the last 6 shows where at much bigger venues.

do you mean GOMER (get out of my emergency room)? A term used by Interns to designate an old/senile/decrepit patient getting admitted because he is not yet in an nursing home?

No, goomer, as used by Granny on the Beverly Hillbillies. I am not a GOMER, yet!

I'm one of those fans that are signed up, but don't post often. I got up at 7am PST to buy 1 ticket in the presale. I tried twice and got nothing, so I upgraded to the silver ticket and was able to get one. I'm flying out from CA and would love to go with a friend, but knew it would hurt my odds to buy 2 tickets so I decided to fly to NY alone. This is my 2nd time going to the Beacon. Last time I think some people posted that they got canceled for buying over the limits. I think they really do take the time to make sure you're signed up for the presale etc. I still haven't gotten an email from TM saying that they're mailing my ticket. When I get it I'll post about it (if it's not already posted) hoping that TM adds the canceled tickets to their site so the fans that got shut out will get another chance.

I was lucky enough to get tickets to Monday's show. I am not part of a ticket conspiracy and am no longer in the Illuminati. I did have to create another account though because my old account was to an email I no longer have and I had forgotten my password.

I only have a handful of posts in this forum. Sorry. I've seen the ABB three times, all in the 1990s. I've seen the Dickie Betts Band play twice, once in 1986, the other around 2002 or so. I met Jaimoe at the Robins AFB Officer's Club around 1984 (he was playing with a jazz trio in the bar). I met Derek Trucks at an Auburn, AL club around 1998 (he was insanely nice and eager to discuss guitar gear). I don't know if this gives me sufficient ABB cred or not. Okay, so I didn't go see the ABB with Duane in Birmingham, AL in the summer of 1971. Tickets were $5 and that's all I had. Talk about regrets.

I've planned to attend a Beacon show for a while, but I've been broke for the past decade or so, plus I live nearly 1000 miles away, and it just hasn't happened. I finally got rid of a big debt earlier this year and the Peach Corps sent me an email on July 7, inviting me to order tickets on July 8 for the Oct 27 & 28 shows. Hey, I was invited. The day of the ticket sale, exactly at 10 est (according to my cell phone), I was logged into Ticketmaster. I asked for floor seats for the Oct 27 show. Denied. I asked for any seats and they offered me two seats on the last row of the lower balcony. I said okay and placed my order.

The tickets have not arrived and I'm hesitant to make travel arrangements without tickets in hand. Hopefully they'll arrive soon.

Anyway, that's my Beacon ticket story.

War Eagle, David. I would give a substantial amount of money for that Derek Trucks Supper Club poster. I'll be enjoying a Beacon show for the first time also.

I called TM. They said my ticket was printed today and I should receive a "shipping your ticket" email soon. If they're going to relist the canceled tickets it will probably happen in the next few days. Good Luck to those still trying

I didn't know that in order to be a fan of ABB you have to have 12,000+ posts to their web site. I am just a busy guy and long time fan that did my due diligence when I got my invitation to the presale. I updated my TM account info and copied the password and was ready to go at 9:55a EST. I hit refresh until I was able to purchase tickets. I pasted the password in, quickly went through the various authentication and payment screens, and scored 2 in the lower balcony for the 28th. No conspiracy, just followed directions.

Oh, and by the way...this is my 4th post.
