Sure, the last thing the world needs is another tease about a Led Zeppelin reunion but hey, maybe one of these times all this hearsay will materialize.

And that time might just be now. In a recent interview, Glastonbury Festival founder Michael Eavis, who has been organizing and hosting the annual music festival on his very own Worthy Farm in Pilton, England struck a suspiciously confident note about the possibility of a Zeppelin reunion.

“That will happen one day,” Eavis proclaimed. “I’m sure of it. They will do it.” Eavis did not offer any evidence to support his claim, but we are committed optimists, so we will just give him the benefit of the doubt. Because let’s face it: it’s way more fun to live in a world that will see a Led Zeppelin reunion one day.

Considering that Robert Plant will be headlining this year's Glastonbury festival and the fact that he hinted that he is open to the idea of Zeppelin reunion back in February of 2013, stating: "I'm not the bad guy. You need to see the Capricorns... I've got nothing to do in 2014," maybe the surviving members of Zep will give the world what it so clearly wants.

The Zeppelin camp has been mum about any sort of reunion, so until then (fingers crossed), we’re going to have to settle for remasters of the first three Led Zeppelin albums, which will arrive in stores packed with bonus materials on June 3rd.

And at least for now, Eavis’ dream will have to remain just that...

I'm certainly in favor of it, but I think it's safe to say I have given up any real hope it will ever happen.

Meanwhile, any Zeppelin fan should get out and see ZOSO whenever they get a chance. I couldn't be more impressed with their musicianship and reverence for the Zeppelin catalog. They are everything a tribute band should be, and more. They really are keeping that music alive in a wonderful way, and I hope I will be seeing them 10 years from now.

It won't happen. Plant wants to continue to explore musically and move forward and I think he sees any Zep reformation as living in the past. When the reunion with Page turned into mini Zeppelin Plant called it off. He likes to be coy and play with the press but in his heart he'll never do it. I wish he would... that said, I'd love to hear anything Jones & Page would create together but anything they do will exist in the shadow of Zeppelin so that won't happen either I bet.

yeh,Page is a guitar god..but sorry to say,Plant is a D__k,we met him them in '95 at an afterparty & later other places.I think you're right in what u say about Plant.(I'll be kind & stop there) May be best to catch the Tribute bands now...s/times they have way more energy & r more Alive than the original guys!
This really is a funny venue to be talking about Zeppelin. Thats what we like about ABB, they're always 'fresh' & reinventing themselves ,every night.Think thats what kept it alive so long.

O...k....?? really not that big a deal! Plant was a disappointment for me too. If you love Zeppelin check out some of the Zep tunes played at Wannee if they ever make it to utube. I think Warren can now enter the realm of guitar gods too.
